The Viceroy Hotel — Hotel in Karnataka

The worstest hotel i have ever stayed in. I didn't find negative stars and given 1 star. Light problem : Only one dim light available in front of the bathroom which of 0watts and 2 table lamps which is of noooo use.

2.Charging point : Only one plug point available. That too is connected to TV which has only 20% display

Power Backup : When the power went off, they didn't turn on the backup. The intercom was not working. We didn't have charge in our mobile phone to use the torch and the place was completely dark due to which we were not able to go to the reception to check on this. Once power came back after an hour, which checked with the receptionist on power backup and she said now power is up. We asked y was it not turned on when power was down, there response was "We forgot to turn on". Next day at the time of vacating the room, same happened and around 20mins no power. When we checked with the receptionist (this time it was an arrogant guy), he said its under repair. We said yesterday they said something else, then he said its a machine and we cannot predict when it will behave like what.

Water : No drinking water will be provided. Not even a half liter water was given which even a basic hotel gives.

Friendship : The only advantage of the hotel is you can get many cockroach friends and u can even take them home. Room fullllll of cockroaches which even sleeps with u in the...

I recently had a stay at the hotel, and unfortunately, my experience left much to be desired. The rooms and bath area were not up to par in terms of cleanliness. It was evident that proper attention to detail was lacking, and the overall hygiene standards fell short of expectations.

To make matters worse, essential toiletries were missing, adding inconvenience to an already underwhelming stay. This oversight reflects poorly on the hotel's attention to guest needs.

The breakfast offered minimal options, making it less than satisfying. A broader selection would have significantly improved the overall guest experience.

Considering the subpar conditions and limited amenities, the hotel did not provide adequate value for the money spent. It's disheartening when expectations aren't met, especially when paying for a service.

we stayed in this hotel for 2 days, overall it was good, neat and clean towels, crisp white bed linen, dust free room.Only the quilt cover was not done properly instead of using two bed sheet they used only one to wrap the quilt,so that the bed from top looks neat and clean inside part was dirty quilt was in bad shape there was some stain marks on it. First night we turn it upside down as it was too late. the following day we asked the houskeeping to make the bed properly. Breakfast was good and simple. Room service was fast but very limited option for Dinner. Hotel is well located ATM and daily needs shops are nearby. we took a horse cart ride in the evening he showed us few places and took us to a nearby handicraft shop (Kaveri) he told us that this is a government shop under ministry of textile and even the staff there also gave us the same impression.
