I had a disappointing experience at Beer Garden Mysore for several reasons. Firstly, playing Lord Ganesha's saxophone music in a bar, like the gajamukane ganapathiye tune, was quite inappropriate and uncomfortable. While classical music may aim to impress foreigners, it shouldn't make Indians uncomfortable by playing devotional music in a bar setting. In their pursuit of appealing to foreigners, it appears that they are devaluing the significance of our own music. The music choice they made suggests a focus on a specific customer group rather than considering the preferences of the local patrons. When it comes to the food, my experience with the Kalmi kebab was utterly unsatisfactory. The kebab appeared to be burnt, lacking freshness, and its taste was far from worth the price. The open-air setting is pleasant, but unfortunately, that’s where the positives end. The food quality at Beer Garden left much to be desired. The dishes were failed to impress. We ordered Gobi 65, Egg🥚 Biryani & thubsup 🥤. The Gobi 65 was an absolute disaster. It tasted like overcooked and tasteless. Avoid it at all costs. The egg biryani was just average neither memorable nor flavourful. It lacked the punch of spices that a good biryani should have. If you’re expecting a fiery experience, prepare to be disappointed. The dishes were bland and lacked spiciness. The service was slow, bordering on apathetic. It seemed like the staff were going through the motions without any enthusiasm. We had a late lunch at this restaurant after visiting Mysore Zoo. They took our order despite being late afternoon. Service was good 👍🏼

The restaurant was a little dark in terms of decor and lighting. So it made the atmosphere a little dingy.

We ordered alot of food Chicken Biryani Cheese Naan / Butter Naan Paneer Kadhai Gravy Non veg starters in Chicken We ordered Lassi as well as Beer. The Caramel Custard was really good 10/10 The kids ordered Ice cream with Chocolate Sauce which they really enjoyed.

On the ground floor they have some fun activities and games near the entrance, it's good for kids to keep them occupied.
