Good rooms, great location. But am giving low rating due to poor service. Customer's Money is more important to them than Customer loyalty. I think they care more about the money they can make during holiday seasons than Customer's pain. My Aadhar card was used during check-in and not returned. Unfortunately I forgot it too as I was trying to find a place late in the evening after a failed booking, traveling with 3 elderly persons and a kid. They could have made a courtesy call reminding me to pick it up or atleast handed over to me during check-out. But they just kept it safe with them. Atleast Thankful for that.. When I eventually realized and requested them to courier it, they did not do it for 2 whole days. Given Aadhar cards are so important, they should have shown some urgency but nothing. I agree it was my mistake too to forget it. But had it been me failing to pay the amount due to them, they would have definitely found the time and my contact number to chase me. Contrast this to the Courier officer Rekha I spoke to, at Courier International hub at Mammiyoor who understood the sense of urgency, arranged for the card to be picked up , prepared it for delivery in half an hour before taking any payment from me. All this just over a 5 minute phone call and WhatsApp sitting in Bangalore.

Also prices at the hotel were quite inflated due to holiday season until I bargained due to competitive prices in other hotels.

The Hotel team only had to put themselves in my shoes, understand my anxiety and take out 5 minutes to arrange a courier pickup from the comfort of their front desk. They would have won my loyalty, ratings or recommendations. But I don't think they care about it anyway as they are too busy...

Awesome stay experience for me and family. I booked 2 King suit this xmas vacation to have a visit to Guruvayoor temple. The rooms are spacious neat and occupied with basic facilities. Actually I would have booked one room and extra bed (pay) rather than go for 2 king suits. This because the room is too big and has a seperate living room in addition to bed room with 2 attached bathrooms . So me & family and my parents, for 4 adults and 1 child, one king suit in this hotel was more than enough. But I was unaware of the size of the room prior my booking. One important thing I need to update is that the parking facility of this hotel. I purchased a new car worth 18L this month and was bit worried on parking on the lane which most hotels in Guruvayoor was having. So I do a thorough search in online and found this hotel. Hotel Newline orchid has a basement parking with plenty of slots and a full time watchman available. The most important thing is that the watchman will assist you while parking and this prevents the fellow passenger scratch your car with their doors spread open while dismount. I liked the way they arranged the parking slot. Also this hotel is very near to the temple. So in short I am fully satisfied with...

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel with our family. The rooms were neat, clean, and well-maintained. The bathroom facilities were also in excellent condition, which added to our comfort. One of the highlights was the room layout – it featured a cozy lounge area and a bedroom separated by a partition, offering both space and privacy.

One of the biggest advantages is the location – it’s very convenient for those visiting the temple, with the East entrance just a short walk away. This made our visit especially smooth and stress-free.

The small balcony was a nice touch, perfect for a bit of fresh air. There’s ample underground parking available, though guests with larger SUVs should navigate with care due to tight turns.

Overall, it was a pleasant and comfortable stay. Would definitely recommend for families looking for a clean and well-equipped...
