Very pathetic experience from this hotel.During our recent visit to Guruvayur, an auto driver took us to this hotel.The atmosphere was fine. We ordered chicken biriyani and fried rice in which biriyani was very worst. No masala , it was like overcooked ghee rice. The chicken piece was almost to fall down from bone. Fried rice was okay but not upto mark.After that we ordered 2 mosambi juices where they bought some sugar syrup mixed with rotten mosambi.It tasted very wierd.We literally felt to vomit and returned it back.The behaviour of cashier was very irresponsive.He didnt even considered our complaints when we said it in polite way and he was explaining about biriyani like we have not seen any biriyani.We have been to almost places in India and tasted different varieties of food.So we know how a biriyani will be. The cost was Rs.180 for that utter flop biriyani. We could have not eaten food , but we had a baby and an aged mother with us, so we didnt make any issue. Humble request to owner of this hotel that, please dont cheat customers by giving bad food and taking high rates for it.Never gonna recommend this hotel to...

The Sapphire Restaurant in Guruvayoor provided a satisfying dining experience during our visit. Opting for the veg meals and veg biryani, we found the spread to be quite satisfying. The veg meals included a variety of dishes such as rice, chutney, pickle, sambar, rasam, a dry curry with brinjal, upperi, pappadam, and payasam. While it wasn't exceptional, it was certainly good enough to leave a positive impression. The vegetable biryani, accompanied by salad and pickle, was flavorful and enjoyable. Pathetic experience. I ordered chapathi and chilly chicken dry as a parcel. Instead, they gave me fried chicken pieces with an onion-based gravy. When I called to confirm, they insisted this was their version of chilly chicken dry. 🥴

The so-called "chilly chicken" was just bland bony chicken fry with no resemblance to what was promised. Terrible quality and misleading description. Felt like I was being looted. Never ordering...
