If you're looking for a vegetarian restaurant with quality food and a good atmosphere, this one is a great choice. The restaurant offers a variety of Indian and Chinese dishes, with the Indian dishes being particularly noteworthy. The dosa, idli, and vada are all excellent, with the flavors and textures being spot on. The Indian dishes are clearly the restaurant's specialty, and they do not disappoint. The quality of the ingredients and the care taken in the preparation of the dishes is evident in every bite. The Chinese dishes, on the other hand, require a little more development. The fried rice and Gobi are good, but they don't quite match up to the quality of the Indian dishes. However, the restaurant's chefs are clearly talented, so with a little more attention and refinement, the Chinese dishes could easily become just as good as the Indian ones. The atmosphere of the restaurant is also quite pleasant, with a cozy and welcoming ambiance. The decor is simple yet elegant, and the staff is friendly and attentive. Overall, if you're in the mood for some delicious vegetarian food, this restaurant is definitely worth checking out. While the Indian dishes are the clear standout, the Chinese dishes have potential, and the...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIt's not my first time going to this restaurant, and each time I go here, something or other happens.
I had many scenarios where they made me wait for more than 15 minutes just for a coffee. I had to go to the cashier to ask him to find someone to take my order.
But most of all, the service and coordination among the staff are very poor; they don't value the customers, and, as I said earlier, it even takes more than 10 minutes for them to attend to a customer.
One such scenario happened again today when I and my friend went to have coffee in the evening. As usual, no one attended us, so we had to go to the cashier and ask him to find someone, and eventually one staff member came and took our order, which was two filters of coffee. Within less than 3 minutes, our coffee came, and I was confused at first because the coffee was cold and was wondering if I had ordered hot filter coffee or a cold one. It made me wonder if the coffee had already been prepared and served.
From my personal experiences, I would not recommend going to this place, not at least during the peak hours, as the staff is not well trained to handle...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreGokul Oottupura is one of the best vegetarian restaurants Iāve visited in the city. The place has a traditional charm, with a simple yet comfortable ambiance that instantly makes you feel at home. Itās perfect for families, groups, or even a quick solo meal.
The menu is extensive, offering authentic South Indian as well as North Indian vegetarian dishes. I tried their thali, and it was absolutely delicious ā fresh, well-balanced flavors with generous portions. The sambar and avial were especially tasty, and the chapatis were soft and served hot. They also serve a variety of dosas, snacks, and sweets, all reasonably priced.
Service is fast and efficient, even during rush hours. The staff are polite, attentive, and always ready to help with recommendations. Hygiene is well-maintained, and the dining area is kept clean despite the high customer turnover.
Parking is available, which is a big plus in such a busy area. Overall, Gokul Oottupura offers great value for money with its tasty vegetarian food, good service, and pleasant atmosphere. Highly recommended for anyone who loves authentic, homely...
