I came across this property on Google search. The photos looked nice and the reviews were good, so we thought of trying it out. Situated in the quiet bylanes behind Mindspace in Malad, the place is quite a revelation. This is valet parking available and it's pretty easy to find specially due to the large glow sign at the top of the building. The maitrรฉ Dee was courteous and we were asked to wait for a few min. The waiting area has enough seating available so u don't have to stand and wait. We got a table in 10 min while check was fast considering it was Saturday night. The ambience is what impressed me the most, they have kept it very simple yet different and cool. The asymmetrical seating, with tables of different shapes and sizes make it quite an experience. Though there is bunquet sitting available too for conventional people.
The offer on a beer bucket is catchy and VFM. Beer drinkers must visit. Menu is not very elaborate, but offers a great deal of variety, with Indian, Mexican, Oriental and Fast Food options available. The Captain suggested we should try the Paneer Chilli Basil, which we did and quite liked it. Tender pieces of cottage cheese marinated in a sweet sauce with good Indian flavours served with sauteed basil and green peppers. It was slightly on the sweeter side, tasting a bit like barbecue sauce, but was overall good. Presentation of cocktail earned a full 10 marks. I really liked the unique tumblers they are using for it. The second thing we tried was a salad with grilled veggies with dressing of grenadine syrup. This was the best thing we had there, and I recommend it strongly for salad lovers. The last thing we tried was Pennรฉ in pesto sauce. This was a disappointment. The Bechamel was not even close to what it should be, and artificial coloring (probably) was used to give the green color, as I could not taste the natural flavours that we get when adding the green puree. The chef had probably forgotten that there is a nutty character too in pesto as this one was completely smooth and the consistency wasn't right either.
Lastly, the staff needs more training. Most of the staff is not not from hotel background. It is evident from their knowledge and the way they talk to the guests. A well trained staff can get you repeat clients, so they...

Boasting of some fantastic interiors and a wonderful ambience, we certainly had a splendid time at the resto. Right from the drinks to food, here we take you through the dishes we had at the resto:-
MaC n Cheese Poppers (Recommended)
The sight of MaC n Cheese itself is irresistible. Soft, crispy and really cheesy. The green chutney adds to the taste. The presentation as you can see is amazing.
Alfredo Pasta
Creamy and rich, yet never heavy, this Lighter Spinach Alfredo Pasta is an easy and satisfying comfort food.
Pizza
Thin Crust Pizzas never tasted better. The Greek Pizza comprising of onions, tomatoes, bell peppers, zucchinis, Feta Cheese, etc was absolutely phenomenal. The chicken ppizza wasn't that great though.
Jamaican Chicken
These small and superspicy, pieces of fragrant chicken are good and tender. Delicious white sauce all over it.
Tamarind Chicken Tikka
Marinated chicken with a pinch of tamarind and squeeze of lemon. Tangy taste.
Oriental Chicken Fried Rice (Recommended)
The ever tasty Chilly Garlic Sauce with chunk of chicken accompanied by egg basil fried rice. The combination of both is a perfect treat.
Brownie with Ice Cream
Served with a scoop of ice cream on top and some chocolate sauce, each bite of the brownie gives a heavenly feeling to your taste buds.
Drinks
We were served two mocktails. Tropical Berry was brilliant while the watermelon margarita was okay.
Overall we had a dinner to remember. The service was...
ย ย ย Read moreIn case of the restaurants with such a fanciful ambiance, music is the paramount when it comes to amusing the people in there.
The ambiance seemed rather spiritless, as there was no good music but just screening of an IPL match.
Ditching all the mocktails and other beverages, we ordered a "Creamy Tomato Soup".
The soup was destitute of cream and was very much pale by comparison. Had it been spicier and tangier, our opinions could've been otherwise.
We proceeded with "Cajun Baby Potatoes".
These were baby potatoes deep fried and tasted crispy. The cajun spices didn't really impress much but the subtle smack of mayonnaise and squeezed lemon over the top saved the dish to some extent. We'd advise having it with sauce or some other dip.
Next, "Mac and Cheese Poppers" -
These poppers had a stuffing of macaroni pasta, corn and mozarella cheese, mashed. It tasted very cheesy and was absolutely filling too.
Lastly, we ordered a "Paneer Kolhapuri Brown Onion Rice Herb Mayo".
The presentation was bewitching and had wraps made of white flour. The fillings included brown rice, farm fresh paneer, chilly sauce and herb mayonnaise in it. The portion was coupled with Italian salad and salted fries which added a lot of gravitas to the overall taste
All in all, not a place I would visit twice, but a good visit for chill interiors for once!
PS: We did visit BSE later to satisfy for hunch...
