Can this have been a more perfect stay?! (Elaborate long details to follow.) I am hoping GM Hardip Marwah gets a chance to read my review because it's taking so much for me right now to not gush out praise for how wonderful our time at the Andaz Delhi was. Some context for readers. I have been some semblance of this trip for years. I am a Globalist, but this was the first international trip for me and wife as a married couple. I had a very late arrival in Delhi (10:00 PM+) and understandably was nervous navigating the large airport at night, with no data on arrival to boot. Enter the Andaz team; from start to finish (more on the finish later) they ensured our stay was flawless. First from the concierge team, Sanjeev (super special emphasis on Sanjeev, more on him later), Amit and Ajay, communicated superbly over email and made sure our pickup was seamless. Oh but then on arrival. At 10:30 PM we were greeted by the very lovely Muskan who showed us to our lovely Suite, decked out in balloons, swan pillows and galore and steadfastly refused any tip, stating she just wanted to take care of us and it's just what she would do for any guest. I almost teared up in my jetlaggedness. Outstanding hospitality. My wife later remarked as we departed that Muskan made our stay. The dining facilities at the Andaz (AnnaMaya) were impeccable. We dined their throughout our stay and never had a meal miss the mark. Definitely recommend the breakfast if you're staying; room service was also on point. Because the food was so delicious and my wife can't help herself, she ran out of lactose pills, and Sanjeev (oh I'm gonna mention him again) graciously helped us source a local brand from Delhi so she can keep dining. Standout service at the Anna Maya there was given by Arsha, who when noticing how much my wife loved tea, managed to finagle some extra tea for us upon departure. They have a very nice gym and spa and have a partnership with a nail salon and hair salon that gives 20% off to guests as well. Now here is the fun part that has now enshrined the Andaz Delhi as the top Hyatt property I have ever stayed at (as a Globalist I have stayed at a lot). 4 days after we check out and are slated to fly back home from Lucknow to Delhi to Taipei, my wife realizes she needs to rush to Khan Market for some emergency alterations. Time is very tight and we'd have give or take 4 hours or else we'd miss our connection. At this point, we are no longer staying at the Andaz, have no room booked, and honestly the property has no obligation to assist us. Enter Sanjeev. Not only did Sanjeev arrange for a door to door pick up from the airport; he also in his infinite wisdom advised us to use an Andaz driver (shoutout to pro driver Alok Kumar) to take us to Khan Market and back to the aiport given the circumstances of traffic and just overall hecticness of calling an Uber. I firmly believe if we didn't take his suggestion, we would have missed our international flight out of Delhi. ON TOP OF THIS. The hotel was completely sold out so I couldn't have booked an emergency room if I wanted to, so Sanjeev arranged for myself and my wife to get a complimentary shower at the Spa facilities post our wild excursion to Khan Market. AND his shift was ending during our wild scramble (my only regret is I didn't get to snap a photo with him) and he STILL communicated with me while at HOME to ensure we were all good and made it to the airport. That, my friends, is mindblowing. I am a checked out guest, but I was treated with the same courtesy as if I was staying. I will be back and this experience will be forever in my heart. Muskan made our stay (with Arsha coming in close second), and Sanjeev emphatically elevated our post stay and ensured so many pleasant memories and stories for me and my wife to tell. Thank you all so much; you all are the epitome of hoteliers.

First things first, the name of the hotel is certainly unique and immediately gives into intrigue as the mind starts racing into thoughts as to what is the "Swag"? Well the reception lobby is certainly huge and has a good ambience. Since it is a hotel in the Aerocity there is a flurry of activity with many guests checking in and out. My check in was done quickly as I had a booking. The ride to the room was in a big spacious elevator, and the walk from the elevator to the room was through carpeted corridors which were not very clean and also felt slightly damp. Probably the monsoon season had something to do with it. The room was certainly spacious with all the amenities which one expects in a five star hotel. The bathroom was also neat and clean and well lit. The wash basin tap when opened sprayed a jet of water right onto my clothes. It was a very odd looking contraption and could have been simpler. Over design is not necessarily good. The layout of the bathroom itself is not properly designed with a lot of wasted space including the furniture. The WC and shower are in two different sections separated by huge sliding doors which is very uncomfortable to negotiate. The shower pressure was inadequate. The towels felt rough and not very white. The mattress was not too comfortable, but nevertheless i did have a comfortable sleep probably because of a tiring day. The mini bar was complimentary with soft drinks and some small eats. The electrical management is strange as when i shut the master switch off at night which cuts all lighting in the room it also cut of the supply to my phone charger. I had a drained phone battery in the morning. The restaurant is also quite spacious with good seating and a good spread for breakfast. For lunch there was no buffet . As per the staff since there were only a few dining in guest and so i had to make do with A-la Carte, which was inadequate and not to my taste. The dining staff were carrying on with their jobs but lacked in giving personal attention to the guests. The gym was pretty good with high end equipment and well maintained. As a business traveler i would certainly look for attention to detail, quick and professional service. I did not go to the pool or the bar so i cannot comment on that part of the hotel. The hotel staff did reach out to me for a feedback the next day after i checked out. I did share my opinion. Hope where ever improvement is possible it would be done.

Upon check in the iron , hair dryer was spoilt and not serviceable until I have to call them and change. Those housekeeping always slam the door after cleaning which disturb my rest. The room with refillable water is not a good idea. The bottle look so dirty even with a seal. However would recommend you guys to change to those packaging mineral water would be better!!!!!!! At least more hygienic. Secondly is the breakfast place which I arrived around 8:15a.m , the table inside mainly all OCCUPIED and couldnt find a good seat. Those least preferred seat was outside the walkway area which only available. Super disappointed , so big area but every table are mostly occupied. Location wise is a bit troublesome if you order food delivery from Zomato, most of the rider will inform that the guardhouse ppl not allow them to enter to lobby and pass u the food. The egg benedict is the nicest i ever taste. Asian selection can be better.

Pros:

Great View: The hotel's location provides a stunning view of Delhi Terminal 2, which adds to the overall experience of staying at Andaz Aerocity.

Spacious Rooms: The rooms are well-appointed and offer ample space, making them a comfortable retreat after a busy day.

Complimentary Amenities: The hotel provides many complimentary items in the room, such as toiletries and bottled water, which make the stay more comfortable and convenient.

Modern Amenities: The hotel boasts modern amenities, such as a well-equipped fitness center and rooftop pool, which add to the overall experience of staying at Andaz Aerocity.

Convenient Location: The hotel is located in close proximity to the airport, which is ideal for those traveling for business or leisure.

Cons:

Food Quality: Some guests may find that the food quality is not up to their expectations in terms of taste or quality. The hotel could improve upon this aspect.

Staff Behavior: While most of the staff are friendly and helpful, some guests may have encountered less-than-pleasant behavior from a few members of the staff. The hotel could focus on providing better training for staff members to improve guest interactions.

Delayed Services: Some guests may have experienced delays in service during their stay, which could be due to busy periods or staffing shortages. The hotel could work on improving its efficiency in delivering services.

Key Deactivation: The hotel deactivates room keys at 11 am on the day of check-out, which may be inconvenient for guests who need to stay in the room for longer. Providing a more flexible check-out time could be beneficial for guests.

Overall, Andaz Aerocity offers a convenient and comfortable stay with great views, spacious rooms, and modern amenities. While there are some areas that could be improved upon, such as food quality and staff behavior, the hotel's strengths outweigh its weaknesses, making it a great choice for those looking for a hotel near...
