Finally got to go to this place after hearing so much about it from lot many people. So me and my buddies planned for a small get together and 360 Degree Revolving Restaurant was the apt destination.
To start with we ordered Mocktails first a total of six of them. My favorite was Virgin Mohito which was quite refreshing and Blue Berry delight for my sweet tooth. Coming to the starters my personal favorite was the Murg Dum Kebab which is tender chicken chicken pieces served in a earthen pot which is covered with roti ( bread ) dough which helps in retaining the flavor of the chicken and a bit of curry that's been cooked inside and murgh ( chicken ) kalimiri kebab which is boneless chicken pieces marinated in white batter and roasted directly in an coal fired oven though only one feedback for this one that the chicken pieces were not that tender as compared to the Murg Dum Kebab. Veg Platter was a mix n match of Cottage cheese, Baby Corn, mushrooms all marinated and than roasted in an coal fired oven and served.
Coming to the main course Chicken Rajasthani brownish gravy was what I liked the most out of all the main course as my main preference is of Non vegetarian food and the best part about this one was neither too sweet or too chilly on the pallet. Second best thing i liked was the Veg Pulao such was the aroma and taste that I didn't feel like it eating with any curries served on the table a must have for the vegetarians n non vegetarians alike. Not much of a South East Asian food eater but since Veg Burmese Khow Suey was served on the table so thought of tasting it so as expected no South East Asian food can be served without the presence of coconut milk it but still it was ok but the noodles that was also a part of it was great. Last of the main courses was Paneer Pasanda part served in white n part in orangish gravy but on the sweeter side so didn't enjoy this dish that much. Coming on to the breads that were served on the table were Butter Naan, Roti, Pudina Parantha, Butter garlic naan n Butter kulcha all were served soft, tasty but hot hot on the table.
Post the starters it was finally time for the deserts to be served. Generally my favorite is always ice-cream and gulab jamun both together if available at the location wherever I eat but I must admit for this place Ferrero Rocher Mousse cake literally stole the show away as every bite of cake tasted as if I am having the whole Ferrero Rocher chocolate in every bite hands down to the cake boss hands down. A bit of dissapointment though from the gajar ka halwa that was served as it felt a but mushy.
Overall rating 5 in terms of food served, service and locale which is the biggest USP of this restaurant as can be made by the name it's a revolving restaurant it gives you a 360 degree view of the city as it sits on the 9th Floor...

For 360 degree revolving restaurant
I was actually counting how many times we came to the place from where we started our dinner. The ambience is circular in structure also cos it revolves. It's good as then u get to see the whole view of the city from each side. The seating is extremely comfortable and the amibence soothing too.
Here's what we had during the tasting!
Starters- #Roast chilly chicken, this roasted version tasted much much better than the deep fried one. The coating was intact and partially crispy, lil sweet, spicy, slightly sour and tooth some.
#Paneer cheese Tikka, cheese filled in two soft layers of Paneer. The use of generous amount of cheese add a twist to the kebab. The paneer marination was perfect which went well with the cheese. It was mouthwatering. #MustTry
#Butter garlic prawns, prawns sauted in butter with garlic and lots of veggies. The seasoning of other spices used was very over powering. My suggestion to them for this was to omit so many veggies and other spice to be reduced so the taste of butter and garlic can be evidently tasted.
#Nachos, I liked these crispy nacho chips served with variety of dips like salsa, sour cream, etc and topped with cheese. The chips are made in house so they tasted really good.
#Murg Dum kabab, lightly spicy boneless chicken cover over minced chicken was too delicious. We gave a small suggestion to look into the seasoning of the filling. Was cooked well.
#Li chicken kabab, a house speciality. Boneless chicken cooked and served in a clay pot with cheese and mild spices. This was delectable and juicy. Combination of cheese & chicken is always a blockbuster. This one was literally floating in cheese.
Mains- Murg #musallam, a mughal dish which did not appeal me much only cos I'm used to have it lil sweet and spicy types balance. The texture of gravy was thick & rich with ample amount of chicken pieces. Chicken was tender and well cooked. Went well with the naan!
Burmese #khowsuey, this was a show stealer. Authentic and just like it should be. The noodles were cooked and seasoned well. The delicately spiced curry was creamy made in rich coconut milk with right amount of veggies & well cooked chicken chucks and seasoning too was right. Yummy! I’m drooling just thinking about it #MustHave
Desserts- #Gajar ka halwa, there can never be shortcut method to make a yummy gajar halwa. This slow cooked carrot based halwa was just right sweet and soft. Had good aroma of ghee and was loved by all on the table.
#Gulab Jamun, these sugar syrup soaked deep fried balls made with khoya were super delicious and just melted in mouth. Definitely a treat to your taste buds.
Overall, a good experience. I'd love to visit soon to try some more starters and Khowsuey.
Thanks Sanngram for...
Read moreSince a long time, I had been wanting to visit 360-Degree Revolving Restaurant which is located on JM Road in Pune. And trust me it was worth the wait. So we friends finally made it one day and we were spell bound and how.
AMBIANCE
The restaurant is divided in 3 floors and it’s the 9th floor that revolves around to give a complete view of the city from each side. The revolving restaurant takes 45 min to complete one revolution. The view outside is breath taking and the experience of dining on a revolving restaurant is unique in itself.
We friends heard that they have a roof top setup too. We couldn’t resist and decided to visit after food. Beautiful voice of music as we entered and an ambiance with dim light and beautiful corners for a private dinner, oh this was just amazing. The lights and the vibe made it all so beautiful. Each table had a candle light to make it look so heart warming in experience. Now this floor was also round and we kept walking to see it from all sides. While walking we were spell bound by someone’s voice which all this time we thought is the voice coming from a music system. Live music with soft hindi songs…. Sama baandh ke rakha tha singer ne. Awesome.
Had I been staying close by; I would have loved to sit back there on roof top and spend hours together.
OK LETS TALK ABOUT FOOD NOW –
Beverages
Blueberry Delight, Grasshopper, Virgin Pinacolada, Oreo Shake, Guvava Mary
360 Degree Special Cocktail and Black Russian
After a long day savouring some delicious and refreshing drinks was all that was required and trust me each sip from each glass had was delicious. Black Russian was my favourite of all. Tinge of caramel with liquor…OMG!!
Starters
Li Paneer Kebab, Stir Fry Veg Black Pepper, Murg Dum Kebab, Chicken Cheese Nuggets,
Chicken In BBQ
Li paneer Kebab was paneer in roll shape and hollow from inside, but they didn’t serve us hollow. It had CHEESE in it and omg was heaven with each bite. I must say, the chef has really curated the starters very well. Chicken was well cooked. Chicken BBQ too was amazing with that perfect BBQ with a nice burnt flavour that made it so yummy. And how can I forget Murg Dum Kebab. When the dish came on table, we all thought its dum biryani but when the dum was removed, we tasted the most delicious kebab. A must have when you visit.
Main Course
Paneer Pasanda, Murg Jungli Masala, Chkn Burmese Khow Suey, Chkn Keema Paratha, Kulcha, Butter Naan
