The Great Indian Khau Gully is a massive new multi-cuisine, multi-faceted food mall in Camp - an absolute foodie paradise. Multiple famous brands from Mumbai like Haji Juice and Bites, Nawab Seekh Corner etc, are here with their first branches in Pune. It's just off MG road, on Taboot Street, a brand new building with it's own parking. Beautiful spacious interiors, comfortable AC and non-AC seating, great service and just a great place for the whole family. I am in love with the place!
THE FOOD
Khansama Rehman - We tried Mutton Chapli Kebab, Galawti Kebab and Seekh Kebab! Absolutely lip smacking stuff, really flavourful meaty treats! The galawti was slightly high on salt, though, but flavour and the soft pasty texture was just amazing. Mahi Amritsari (fish) was a chatpata and delicious deep fried fish, with Ajwain flavour singing through. We tried the Malai Broccoli, Dahi Kebab and Paneer Pasanda from the Veg menu and they were just delicious. The dahi kebab was a bit too sweet for me, though.
Wong's Kitchen - We had Paneer Chilli, Honey Chilli Potato (was too sweet) and Crispy Veg from. Kung Pao Chicken and Chicken in Hot Garlic Sauce from the non-veg section was just amazing too.
Navruz by Mona - The Chicken Jujeh Kebab was an absolutely delectable, mildly spiced, juicy chicken kebab! So soulful. The Mutton Kubedah Kebab just made my day! Juicy, meaty and perfectly spiced. The accompanying roasted onion and tomato was such a perfect smokey combination with the already smokey kebabs! I could eat this everyday! Breakfast - Classic Irani Cafe fare like Kheema pav, which was flavourful and hearty (too heavy on green peas for me, though) and the soupy, rich and heart warming Paya curry. It was high on salt, but the flavours apart from that were great.
MAINS - We had just mains from Wong's and it was just delicious. Chicken Fried Rice with Veg Hong Kong, Veg Mushroom Babycorn, Fish in Hot Garlic Sauce and finally Chicken in Oyster Sauce. I must say, I was really impressed, not at all the typical spicy and weird "Everything in Shezwan sauce" stuff. Each curry was really different and flavourful! Just really amazing simple food.
DESSERTS - We were crazy full, but were blown away by the desserts!
Rajkot Gola - Man, this thing is incredible and bloody massive! Shaved ice topped with all sorts of sweet crave-worthy goodies! Cherries, malai, khoa, shaved coconut, tutti-frutti, chocolate sauce, cashews, pistachios and raisins! A dessert fit for a king!
Haji Special Falooda was creamy, satisfying and delicious. The Pineapple Sheera from Udupi house was great too!
The Desserts from Khansama Rehman were really interesting too. Double ka Meetha is an amazing cool and rich bread pudding. Chane Ki Kheer was creamy soothing and delicious. Most interesting were the Chukandar-E-Afroz and Mirch ka Halwa!
DRINKS - We had a smorgasbord of milkshakes from Haji Juice and Bites. My favourites were the Mix Berry and Avocado. Rest of them seemed slightly mild in taste, they need to pump up the flavour quotient.
I had to end this goliath of a meal with some Irani Chai! I wouldn't have reached home, otherwise and man, it's one of the best I've ever had! Super strong, rich and creamy, topped off with so much malai! The flavour of the classic Irani tea was amazing and intense and the thick creamy nature just went down so smoothly. Absolutely revitalized my brain, it's a must!
VERDICT - No verdict required, this is a must visit place for foodies. Hang out with your friends, chill with family, take you special someone! It's perfect for all. The quality of food is incredible. Each outlet serves something special and different and will satisfy every type of tastebuds. More veg options like Pav Bhaji and most importantly, Chaat, are opening up soon, so it's going to become the ultimate one stop...

I'll not lie, these guys have stolen this idea from my head!! I always thought of a place where I'll serve my favorite food under one roof. I had different brands in my head but they have surpassed my plan by bringing these amazing brands under one roof. So, I was a bit mad (totally fake) at the beginning but the food took away everything.
So about the place, a great concept executed fantastically! I feel their only drawback is the location but it may work in their favor as well. So The Great Indian Khau Galli (TGIKG) is located on the bustling streets of the Camp, to be precise it is on Taboot street. Decor and lighting is very bright and colorful. They have crazy paintings and quotes on the wall, loved it. Every outlet has its own dedicated palace with a common sitting area. One can order from any outlet and they serve on the table. They have a dedicated family area with Indian seating, overall the decor and seating is really nice perfect for all ages!
TGIKG has the following outlets:
Degchi's
Cafe Navruz by Mona
Wongs Kitchen
Udupi House
Nawab Seekh Corner
Khansama Rehman
Haji Juice & Bites
Rajkot Gola
Bombay Sevpuri
A1 Sandwich
