Chandrashram -Paying Guest House — Hotel in Uttar Pradesh

' A Second Home' This is how i would like to quote this place. Banaras is already famous for welcoming people and this place is just the perfect example of it. I stayed here for 3 days from 1Nov, 2023- 4 th Nov 2023 with my parents on my visit to Banaras. I am really glad I chose this homestay. The homestay is just 2 mins away from Assi ghat. If you want peace and tranquility, away from the busy crowded areas near the mandir, this is the best place you can choose. Infact the location of the homestay gives an additional advantage in the commute options that you avail. On day 1 for evening aarti at Dashashwamedh - you can directly take a sharing boat ride to the ghat, enjoying the sunset.

On day 2 we watched the enchanting morning aarti at assi ghat. Enjoyed the famous chai and instead of visiting the Baba Vishwanath temple by road (which us usually crowded) we booked a morning boat ride to the temple corridor. Morning boat rides and chai is must in Banaras.

Day 3 -Durgakund and Sanket Mochan temples, BHU CAMPUS and Ramnagar fort are just an auto ride away from this place. The location of the homestay is perfect. The host is always attending and helpful and patient. The homestay has all facilities like ac, geyser etc. And drinking water was also provided by them. You can always contact them while your stay or even after your stay either on whatsapp or directly call them ,they will always respond. Food options - the homestay does not have a restaurent or kitchen. They provide food menu from near by restaurents which are hygienic and food will be delivered directly to your room. Also lanka road is just 1 km away from here. In lanka there are multiple food options veg and non veg. Being near to assi ghat this place is also close to many popular cafes near the ghat. You can visit them too.

The area is very safe, you can enjoy the beauty of ghats till late in the evening and get back into your homestay...

I did not stay here. I booked for a room through agoda, paid advance amount 1 month prior to booking date, owner confirmed same, and I was also relaxed. Now all of sudden owner calls me and ask if I can stay in some other suggested hotel as he has got other bookings, even though he offered replacement hotel (at a higher price) and returned advance money paid, this is not professional things to do and it spoils someone's plan, pathetic service. Message to owner if you are not sure to take guests for 1 day booking don't accept the booking and spoil someone's plan. This person is inappropriately audacious, he cancelled my booked stay at his hotel at cost of Rs. 2750 for which I paid 570 1 month in advance, and he suggests me some other hotel at cost of Rs. 3,200 and expects me to book that hotel, and after all this he wants more stars. If you care so much about me, then you could have given some other room at same price, I spent 30-40 mins searching for hotels and then booked your hotel, not to get it cancelled but to stay, I had other options as well. People be cautious, don't book in advance he will ask you to cancel, rest is...

An enjoyable homestay in Chandrashram.Everything is perfect: close to the Assi Ghat, quiet surroundings, reasonable pricing.I advise everyone to reserve a room at this homestay because it is close to all the tourist attractions in Varanasi and you can attend the Assi Ghat Arti here, which is only a hundred metres away. The food is another unique and fantastic feature of this property.I will never stay at any other hotels with meals as good as this.The meal is freshly prepared to your specifications and is reasonably priced.The reason I enjoy this location the best is that whenever I visit or depart from there to go somewhere else, it seems like home.
