Golden Dolma and Spa — Hotel in West Bengal

A pretty good stay but a very awful experience. I have been a regular customer for this hotel since it has been constructed as Dolma 21 and reconstructed as Golden Dolma Resort and Spa. We have been receiving homely treatment from this hotel for several years. The staff is very friendly and helpful when in need. We have been contacting the hotel directly for several years whenever we wanted to book rooms for us or even our acquaintances. Complimentary breakfast has been included with the rooms at all times. Today (Wednesday,18.12.2024), we checked in for the infinite th time, I suppose, with some of our family friends. When at night we asked about the complimentary breakfast timings in the morning, they refused us providing one. This circumstances was caused by the unknown person who is supposedly an agent for the hotel as reported by the hotel authorities. We have been contacting the person, knowing that they are a part of this hotel.

My family and I are in disgust with the person involved, also we have been embarassed infront of the family friends. I would humbly request the hotel authorities to blacklist this agent who caused us such dismay and not to hamper their reputation...

Why this hotel?||1. Well connected. The mall market is very close by. The restaurants, tea stalls, the tourism cab services all are very close to the hotel.||2. Very warm staff. The staff always carried warm smile through out their services and extended their support and help within their limits.||3. Large room. The room is very large and very comfortable. Apart from the bed there is a seating available, a small sofa available. There is 24X7 hot water availability.||4. Finger licking food: We had two meals and two breakfasts in this hotel. Not even a single dish disappointed us. The taste was perfect.||5. Best price: The price of the hotel is very reasonable for the services they are providing.||||Some pointers:||1. If you are travelling with someone who can not take stairs please note that there is no lift available. Also in order to reach the reception one has to take around 10-15 steps.||2. As this is located in the heart of the city. Please expect too much of traffic (the huge problem in Darjeeling) and plan...

I had gone for college tour, the room was very clean and felt very inviting in the lobby by the essence of the fragrance of the incense burner. The staff were really friendly and polite and had a good knowledge about the place.|Teas and coffees were refillable and the dinner was scrumptious and few things could be added according to your choice, please meet the manager of the hotel they are the sweetest one. Meet Alex and his team who take care of you and serve you well.|The hotel is close to the shopping center and Chowrasta which is the street and the the Ghantaghar of Darjeeling which is a clocktower.|This is my last year in the college so, would visit this place again with my family after the graduation.|Worth staying.|Ratings: 4.1/5 in Giobabo Indias...
