Hello to all readers and to all staff @ Trip. ||I stayed here for 3 nights along with my younger brother and my Dad. The hotel room reservation was done on the phone. Word of mouth. A promise of sort. Big thanks to Mr Kumaran Jee. I was promised, for sure. This was a good gesture that I still appreciate. No pre-payment or Credit card guarantee . ||Room 105 for me, Room 102 for my bro, another room for my dad across the first floor. Check in was easy and smooth for all of us. The fact we arrived at different times in the morning. My room had most amenities-- mini fridge to store my water , safety locker, coffee/tea kettle, laundry etc. If you wish / want to stay here , please be prepared to deal with plenty of noise inside your room. Traffic, wednesday PM DJ at the bar and more traffic. The windows are sealed but not sound proof. You will hear the noise reverberating from the bar and traffic honking. The breakfast at the restaurant downstairs is ok. Adequate I must say for me. Not delicious but good for 6 hrs till lunch time. I didn't eat lunch or dinner here, except the day I checked in. The evening supper was bland and the AC in the restro was artic weather. I had curd rice with a spiced lentil broth. My dad had a salted onion crepe ( dosa) with sambar and chutney. It rained almost every evening after I checked in. The hotel has an onsite bar underground , that functions everyday from 11am to 12 midnight. For reservations , please call Mr Kumaran Jee. Rest will be done....
Read moreI recently stayed here and unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience. From the moment I arrived, there were issues that made my stay less than enjoyable.
Firstly, the check-in process was disorganized and slow, despite there being few guests present. The staff seemed indifferent and unhelpful, making me feel unwelcome.
Upon entering the room, I was immediately struck by a stale odor, indicating poor cleanliness. The linens appeared worn and stained, and the overall cleanliness of the room left much to be desired.
Furthermore, the amenities promised on the website were either nonexistent or in poor condition. The Wi-Fi signal was weak and unreliable, and the fitness center was poorly maintained with malfunctioning equipment.
To add to my disappointment, the noise level in the hotel was excessive, making it difficult to get a good night's sleep. It seemed like there was little regard for the comfort of guests.
Overall, my experience at [Hotel Name] was far below expectations. I would not recommend this hotel to others and will not be returning in the future.
Moreover, Hotel Wallet damaged my car and initially Management agreed to get this repaired on their cost but they paid my only 7.5K instead of 25K what I spent overall. This is truly disgusting. They didn't kept their promise after repair...
Read moreI booked this lodge solely for its location ,this would be a good choice to crash in if you're planning to go on a shopping spree around T.Nagar. Double occupancy costs around 2.5K and its well worth it.Rooms are neat and spacious enough for a family.Room service was a let down since nobody picked up the call instead every time I had to call reception to order for room service. They have a mini bar in every room filled with snacks and various drinks use it only if you're too lazy to order food from outside because all the items are priced at 2 X MRP. Overall a nice stay.
Update(11/2020): I had another stay recently I hate to say this but the room service is very worst. I had asked for drinking water and waited for 15 minutes nobody came, I called back to the room service nobody picked the call, called the reception and asked for water again this time I patiently waited for 30 minutes again nobody showed up with the water. Only after getting down to the reception and reminding them in-person I got the water delivered. These days even ordinary lodges have exceptional room service. Management should serious take note of this and rectify the problem at the earliest to avoid inconvenience for...
