Learn moreShree Mithai made its name for its dairy products which continue to be excellent. Their freshly made chaats are tasty and prepared hygienically too. However, what many might not know is that their chaat supplies are outstanding too - bhel mix, the very thin sev (known as baarik sev), the chaat puri used for dahi paapdi chaat etc. The best part is that these are made from peanut oil and are sans vanaspati/dalda/hydrogenated oils - very rare, particularly in chaat puri. Couple of days back we got Sangam barfi from Shree Mithai, Nungambakkam and when my kid was eating it he found a hair in the middle of the sweet and threw up immediately. It was disgusting to see this kind of hygine being maintained by such a famous shop. We have already raised a complaint to the Chetpet along with the photos taken of the sweet. What if my kid would have had without noticing the annoying hair ???? Is this the kind of pathetic food standards being maintained by Shree Mithai ??? I have also added the photos of the sweet to be checked...
Read moreOne of the best places to have snacks with any age group. Though it's little costly but the taste and environment is worth. Especially the North Indian dishes are made perfectly. Dishes which can be preferred is samosa with spicy and sweet chutney, chola Puri and dahi puri. The kachoris are the best. The sweets are amazing. However the cutlets can be improved n served with sauce as in our table there was no sauce. Drinking water is available. Awesome place to go out with friends u can shout have your own fun no one will bother. It is a self service place. I went in nungambakam branch. The space is less Wen u go with a big gang of friends or family. The staffs are co operative. Overall a nice place to experience and can be visited...
