Hotel Ibis Styles Bandung is strategically located in the heart of Bandung, very close to Gedung Sate, with ample parking space. The room cleanliness is satisfactory, and the rooms are neat and spacious. However, it is regrettable that the service level in this hotel did not meet expectations. This was my first experience staying at this hotel, and, in my opinion, the hotel is overrated because my experience was not memorable.

The check-in process was quick and efficient, assisted by a female staff member, whose name I forgot but held the position of assistant manager. She was very helpful, friendly, and efficient in processing my check-in. Upon receiving the room key, we entered the room, and a simple welcome amenity of traditional cakes awaited us—a nice touch for Accor members. I also received a greeting card from the hotel manager. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. While the number of restaurant staff was limited, some of them were very good and helpful. The breakfast options were not extensive, but the taste was okay.

The unpleasant experience started during breakfast when the hotel's system error indicated that my room did not include breakfast. I had to confirm with the front office staff, and here is where my dissatisfaction grew. The male staff at the front office insisted that I did not book a room with breakfast. After showing clear evidence in my reservation that breakfast was included, the staff finally acknowledged the mistake. I requested to escalate the matter to the duty manager, but I was told there was no duty manager available. As an elite member and guest, I felt mocked during this embarrassing incident, and not a single staff member apologized for this unpleasant experience.

Another negative experience occurred when I ordered room service in the evening. The staff who delivered the food entered arrogantly without removing his dirty shoes, even though I had clearly left my sandals at the entrance of the room. This lack of courtesy and the staff's unfriendly demeanor made me contemplate an early checkout.

My interactions with the front office staff were consistently disappointing. They appeared not friendly and lacked professionalism, a stark contrast to the service provided by other Accor hotels. While I understand Ibis is a budget hotel, it is disheartening to see a hotel with great potential in its class fall short in service quality, especially with certain staff members. update on second visit: another good experience from this hotel for second time. i can called this place my second home. there will be another visit for sure. they still remember me and give me the exact room that ive stayed before. well done. they also gave me another cake after i visit for another time.

for sure its clean free upgrade to city view acknowledgments for accor member amazing city view from the room The Pullman staff did treat us properly although we are ibis style customers, will stay there next time smooth and fast check in one of the best customer service from staff. chacha if I'm not mistaken smart tv with flexible mount which is a big plus. its easy to plug my laptop and its even got wireless screen mirroring compact room but its smart design makes it feels spacious proper queen bed instead of merged two single bed. which is rare these days The location is just really good. 8 minutes from the station. 5 minutes walk to bandung tour buss station. gedung sate in front of hotel. the sofa could take another person to sleep in the room. they also provide another extra pillow competitive pricing tons of electric outlet around the room. fast internet. really appreciated 4 bottle of water after i request more water. glass over plastic bottle is always nice love the way they designed the bathroom entrance

pretty weird the sink and shower water pressure got really weak when its on cold water but it gets stronger when you choose hot water. the shower floor is too slippery. An extra rubber mat would be nice not too sure about the electric outlet behind the sink one switch for main lighting. i wish we can get more control for the lighting. because if i turn it on, it's too bright and vice versa.

after a horrible experience from one of the ibis style in other cities, its nice to get a good experience here. definitely a solid 5 stars for me. and best choice for its class here. 10 stars if available, especially for staff. this is what makes the biggest difference staying here!
