Kumari (Bake and Brew) — Restaurant in Bandung City

I visited this place un planned, which I did not regret at all!!! Was about to visit a cafe nearby then I saw this place with a very unique facade that I love

At first I didn’t want to level up my expectation because recently many cafes are beautiful but comes with average or even poor food and beverages, but I was wrong…

This place is amazing! The staff were all extremely friendly and welcoming us that I feel like seeing my friend during work, this has been a really good service and I am overwhelmed with their service good job!

Now move on to the food, the main course is amazing! I had a mentai salmon rice bowl and tastes good, the portion is more than enough to me. Pastry? Umm this was okay, the butter croissant is good but I expect better, the other pastries were great tho!

Wide varieties of pastries & beverages of great quality & worth the price. The ambience is nice & cozy although it could be very noisy during busy hours. Definitely not a place to have a quiet time, sadly. I sat with a friend in the smoking area and during the evening the place was packed, we had to shout to each other to make ourselves heard because it was very noisy around us. Tips for the staff : Ambient music choice & volume need more adjustment, it was too loud in certain areas. I came there during weekdays though. Can't imagine how crowded it will be during weekends. I hope when the hype is over I could enjoy spending time here again because it's actually such a nice venue.

Kumari bake and brew is one of the most comfortable cafe i've ever come in Bandung. Near Gedung Sate Bandung, It has a good architecture and interior design. Almost 70% of the area is open space, and it quite accommodates the smoking and non smoking. It also perfect for people who ride a bike because it has a big bike parking area. The car park isn't so big. The food also good for people who wants to have a brunch. It has various type of pastries and as suggested, I tried quinche (🔥🔥) , pain au chocolate, and strawberry chococheese cake. The food tastes amazing ✨✨. Haven't try the main course (maybe next time haha) For the drinks, it tastes okay. Not the one that can make you impressed. I tried cappuccino, matcha latte, and hot chocolate. +plus point, the restroom is super clean, and the staff are good and helpful.
