If you're looking for an authentic Sundanese dining experience in Bandung, this place is highly recommended. They serve a broad variety of dishes with semi self-service style: no menu list provided, just pick your selected food from the buffet and put it on your vintage tin plates. Some waiters behind the trays will help you explain the dishes names if you're unfamiliar with Sundanese food, and warm your food upon request. After you finish selecting, show your food to the cashier and pay.
They do not only serve typical 'warung nasi Sunda' food such as nasi liwet, pepes, ayam kampung goreng, empal, perkedel, tahu tempe, sayur asem, tumis daun singkong, tumis jengkol, pete bakar, various kinds of sambel etc, but also some refreshing beverage and dessert choices: es goyobod, es cincau, es cendol, kue balok, etc.
Expect a rather long queue especially in busy lunch hours; it's seriously hard to decide which food you're going to pick because they all look tempting and taste as good as their appearance. You can sit at regular tables or enjoy your meal in lesehan area (limited space).
Price is slightly above average compared to another warung nasi (we spent about Rp 250k for 5 people), but definitely worth...

One of the famous warung nasi (sundanese restaurant) the place is almost always packed with people. My advice before you come.. pray #lol
I never had a bad experience here, the foods are always good, the service were always good. If there is a flaw in this place, I believe is the parking. In a crowd day, you may find yourself circling the neighbourhood just to park your car, just make sure you are signaling the parking assistant so they are know that you are going to eat, not just driving around.
There are some other food stalls in the restaurant, my favourite is the es cincau (traditional ice desert). Other food stalls that you may find are Tahu Gejrot (spicy soy sauce tofu), es lilin (a kind of popsicle), and kue balok (brick like pancake).
The best time to eat here is during lunch time.. but.. it may be overcrowded though.. but still, it...

It's a sundanese traditional buffet style restaurant, with plenty of vegetables and proteins available. They can reheat the food if you want it hot/warm, but be advised that some food will be fried twice.
Staffs were very nice and helpful directing and advising the food to choose.
The tables were a little bit small for 4 people, so try not to bring too many plates with you.
The food and drinks tasted nice, especially its Nasi Liwet. Vegetables aren't warm because it's been served since morning and no reheat for veggies I think.
The price for selected items were quite high (chickens, egg, fishes, meat).
Usually packed when lunch, so try to avoid lunch time if you want to enjoy in this restaurant without queueing.
Parking lot is considered big, but since this restaurant is quite popular, some cars needed to park outside the area or accross...
