I truly don’t get all the good reviews. The walls are paper thin, you could hear everything from the outside including the loud music from the restaurant (at least that stopped at 11pm) The internet was as good as nonexistent.. Slow and often didn’t work at all. The rooms were clean but definitely not in the best condition anymore. The breakfast..well it was something. It did definitely not resemble the pictures they posted online. You get offered some fruit, a slice of toast with jam and then a choice of black tea or black coffee and for food either a version of eggs with potatoes and chicken sausage, eggs Benedict (or wannabe ones), french toast or pancakes. The pancakes come with a dollop of jam on top and yoghurt on the side (for whatever reason). The french toast was nice but the cornflakes on top of it were confusing and unnecessary. The eggs Benedict came on a slice of toast with a slice of salami underneath as well as mushrooms, undercooked potatoes and chicken sausage still wrapped in plastic.. They also don’t have sun beds on the beach...
Read moreI’ve emailed privately and meassaged over social sites but was never given a response. So I guess I have to state it publicly to get any recognition. The other week I dined at your restaurant attached to your hotel in Gili T, after finally ordering we waited 45-60 mins for our food which would be understandable if it was busy but it was not. I ordered the Naty’s salad, when this arrived it didn’t have cous cous as stated on the menu and would be the main of the dish, when questioned I was told they ran out I don’t know why this wasn’t mentioned at the time of ordering as I wouldn’t of ordered a half complete dish, after I complained that I didn’t want it they offered me bread before finally offering a replacement. My boyfriend had finished his meal before I even got my replacement, when my replacement came the chicken was dry but at this stage I was over complaining I just wanted to leave. I’ve been travelling for 10 months and was genuinely the worst dinning experience. I wasn’t even offered compensation...
Read moreA pleasant stay on Gili Trawangan, especially during a pandemic situation. The location is quite strategic because it is on the edge of the main road and it only takes 5 minutes to walk from and to the main pier (still under construction) - neither from night market. Right next to Cocomart - not stand out enough to find the hotel entrance in the first time but it is an aesthetic alley entrance.
The hotel is comfortable and clean. They prepare only 2 towels without toiletries - I think its due to pandemic. The shower water flow is not heavy, and there is a taste of sea water (not really a problem for me). Ah, good price for extra person, only 70K.
Hotel has simple breakfast option - an a la carte: nasi goreng or american style breakfast with orange juice (i am not sure if its free flow because the staff bring it with the food), and free flow coffee or tea. But you will have great view of the sea in the restaurant in second floor.
Ps: loved the reception desk design and blue colour interior...
