Pearl Beach Lounge — Restaurant in West Nusa Tenggara

How is it that the top two most expensive restaurant on Gili Trawangan has such bad service? I ordered the RISOTTO with oyster mushroom and white truffle oil w extra cheese (20.000 idr)BECAUSE I expected it to be rice NOT barley as stated on the other dish on the menu which REAL NAME IS Orzotto. I ordered take away with two male hosts and was so hungry but to my big disappointment when I arrived to my hotel room it was not risotto as stated on the menu. Not risotto rice grain and no truffle oil. I walked all the way back to the restaurant because I don't eat barley. After 20 min of waiting for them to come back from the kitchen and trying to explain to STAFF that how would a guest know they don't use rice when they state it on one dish but not the other. The lady host just wanted to hand me back the box I came with even after I had just explained I DONT EAT BARLEY . Not even offering my money back or another dish just the same take away box I came back to return with an apology. Sorry but I cannot eat an apology. An all exclusive review of Nasi Goreng (4.5 on scale of 5):

I wanted to try a local Indonesian dish which could be available in the vegetarian option and I was running into a wall always as no place had anything in Veg cuisine. However to my surprise Pearl Beach Lounge had them in Veg and on my special request they even excluded the egg and other ingredients which weren’t vegan. Thank you for that. The dish is a South Asian Fried rice cooked to perfection. It was appetising in all aspects.

Hospitality (5 on a scale of 5):

The executive who took my order was so kind and fantastic in his work is something I really want to put it out straight. He entertained my requests to get the order in pure vegan style. He even double checked a few things and to top it all off when I was full, he even asked me if I wasn’t happy with my food, that wasn’t the case, I was just too full ! Full marks for that.

Atmosphere (5 on scale of 5):

The decor is plush and the vibes of this place Is unexplainable. You need to be there to witness it. Look at my photos uploaded, such a spectacular place to enjoy the sunset, sip a few drinks and have the Nasi Goreng to top...

I visited a restaurant located next to the beach in Gili, and here's my review:

Firstly, the location adjacent to the beach was fantastic, offering a wonderful atmosphere. Dining while enjoying the beautiful beach scenery made for a delightful experience. Additionally, the interior decor complemented the beach ambiance perfectly, creating a comfortable and cozy atmosphere.

Regarding the food, there was a wide selection of dishes made with fresh seafood and local ingredients, and everything tasted delicious. The seafood dishes, in particular, were fresh and flavorful, and the dishes incorporating local specialties were very satisfying.

Furthermore, the service provided by the staff was friendly and efficient. They were attentive and prompt in taking orders and serving food, which added to the overall positive experience.
