MARC Hotel Gili Trawangan Lombok — Hotel in Gili Trawangan

The hotel is walking distance from the harbour (2 minutes) so great location after long journey from Bali. The location of the hotel is opposite the beach and in the middle of where everything is, bars, beach, shops, restaurants and bike hire opposite. ||Staff generally friendly mostly. ||Breakfast good but you have to pay extra for a decent fresh coffee. I couldn’t drink the coffee from the buffet, it’s awful in my view, very bitter. |There’s a choice of breakfast options to order and you can help yourself to the buffet. The staff at breakfast are very friendly, helpful and kind. The atmosphere at breakfast is really nice as well, nice seating and sea views if you want depending on where you sit but very nice. || There’s a restaurant attached to the hotel which has really good reviews but I didn’t rate it at all. I ordered a tuna salad, it wasn’t what I ordered and I questioned if it was even tuna fish, it tasted like some sort of meat which I couldn’t eat. There were a few lettuce leaves. I should’ve sent it back really. The glass of wine I ordered was awful and took ages to arrive, it was also very expensive compared to other places. I wouldn’t recommend it but maybe it was just bad luck. There are much better places to eat. |The bikes we were able to hire from in front of the hotel which was great for cycling around the island and very convenient. |The swimming pool is small but I had it to myself mostly. It’s badly designed, needs upgrading, fixing and probably a good clean but I just made sure I didn’t get my head under the water. It’s not suitable for children, no sunbeds or even room for any. There are 3 beanbags to sit on and that’s it for chilling. Otherwise tables and chairs near the pool, in the breakfast area are available. The outdoor shower doesn’t look to be working, there are 2 large umbrellas in it. ||Our room was in the basement looking out at a wall, no balcony. The hotel next door has a party on a Monday night from 9 pm till 3 or 4 am and extremely loud so you can’t sleep. The hotel did however, write us a letter to warn us about the party and to apologise for it. Just don’t stay on a Monday night unless you want to go to the party next door. The music is horrendous in my view. I have a headache which is why I’m actually writing this review whilst listening to the music due to having nothing else to do. I definitely won’t sleep tonight and neither will my son. ||Anyway, after all that, I do love Gilly T, still like the location of the hotel, the bed is comfy and the room is fine, shower good, sink and toilet fine, towels and toiletries provided, glasses, water, kettle, coffee, tea and a fridge. |Only 2 coat hangers though for 2 people , very strange. I just don’t think they have a clue here or maybe they just don’t think that 2 coat hangers might not be enough. My clothes remain on the floor in my suitcase for the duration of our stay. |There are towels provided for the pool and beach which is great. |So to summarise, the hotel location is great but not on Monday nights. Breakfast good apart from coffee unless you pay extra for a fresh coffee from the bar. Pool not suitable for children and no sunbeds. Staff generally friendly, kind, polite and helpful. |It’s growing on me even though the music from next door is preventing us from sleeping. I’d recommend it for the location and staff but I’m not sure how much I paid as booked as part of a package. I feel comfortable and have settled in today after the friendly treatment...

It's so nice to stay here. Marc hotel has a sasak concept that is easily recognizable, from a distance when the boat hasn't docked, the roof of Marc's hotel can be clearly seen.

Not far from the anchorage, walking for about 10 minutes, we have arrived at the hotel. I and my friend held a partnership activity here, so the hotel manager welcomed us very friendly in front of the hotel. The unpleasant incident happened to me when I got off the boat, my shoes totally wet. So I carried shoes using my hands. Seeing the incident, the hotel staff swiftly and initiative offered assistance, then gave me sandal and helped me to dry my wet shoes. Thank you 😊

Entering the hotel and seeing a high roof, with a propeller ... an environmentally smart concept, because the flow of air and wind easily circulates, so the atmosphere becomes comfortable and not feels hot and certainly does not need air conditioning anymore.

The swimming pool is very cool, because at the end of the pool we can see the scenery on the road while inside the pool. In the pool there are also very comfortable sitting cushions for relaxing use after swimming.

Entering the room, I was immediately exited. The rooms are spacious, the mirror on the dressing table is big, the mirror on wastafel was my favorite, with double-sided mirror, we can easily look our self. Large LCD TV screens, so satisfied watching the national geography. At the corner near the window, they put a very comfortable sofa to be used to relax reading, working or seeing the scenery outside. But I use the sofa as a place of prayer.

After completing the meeting, I was very tired and my sleep was very tight because the bed in Marc was very clean and had good quality pillows.

To enjoy this island, can we rent a bicycle at this hotel, just enough IDR 50k, we can use it as much as we like.

At night my friend and I decided to swim, and the staff kindly provided information about the pool and then gave us towels for our needs.

Because I and my friend fasted, the hotel gave us sahur according to the hour I had set. Delivered in the room and the menu is spelled. 😍

Overall this hotel is highly recommended for the choice of staying at Gili Trawangan, and I am very satisfied with the services provided by the hotel manager and staff here. Thank you...

We loved our stay at our hotel, the mark on Gilli T. It was a wonderful location, considering there are no cars on this island, and it is challenging if you have bags to get all over, unless you were riding the horse carriage which we preferred not to do. It is just a few buildings to the left of the dock. The staff was wonderful and the hotel was very beautiful. They had some issues with things breaking. For instance, our door lock did not work the last day, but otherwise anytime we had issues they were attentive. are light, prompt, and kind. We especially appreciated the service from the staff, helping us with our bags to our room and with serving and cleaning during breakfast, which was lovely and nice to have at the location. Wish they had more vegetarian and vegan options as most of the meals have some animal product in them for breakfast. I specially appreciated the spoils of friendly faces of the staff during breakfast, who are incredibly attentive, such as Baig ni ayu astuti dian ekawati Than you for taking great care of us! Are all kinds of activities, such as scuba diving next door, bands, playing in the evening at the lobby, or across the street, dancing just a few feet away, and a phenomenal spa with Massage for only 100 for the hour called Carla spa just out the building to the right about a 10 minute walk, ask for Princess Jasmine, she was awesome!
