This is my first trip to Indonesia and I stayed for 14 days all long at Grand Picasso hotel ⦠Iād like to be transparent about my experience at the hotel .. first of all I arrived at the early morning around 1:35 from a very tiring longe trip of 11 hours with connection flights ⦠however once I arrived the front desk employer on that date (30th of July) was so friendly and helpful ⦠Iāve checked in a standard room according to my booking thru Agoda app ⦠the first shocked impression was the room condition ⦠it was totally not cleaned with dust over the television desk ⦠the bed and pillow sheets were spotty and dirty ⦠they seemed not cleaned well ⦠the room smelled with cigarettes smoke and a very bad smell thought it would be from the dirty beds lining ⦠although I rushed to the phone and I reported what Iāve checked to the reception ⦠honestly he sent a room service certainly and changed the dirty sheets with semi cleaned ones ⦠the next day I asked for a new room and I reported to changing the room ⦠the front desk staff were so helpful and changed the room for me and transferred me to a superior room at the non smoking area as the first one was at the smoking area ⦠I gave two stars for the rooms because even with the superior room was OK and much better than the first one that Iāve been checked in .. but the hotel rooms I think need to be maintained and get sort of fixing to walls from spots and visitor luggage scratches ⦠the entertainment was fine there are plenty of local channels and just Youtube no Netflix or any other entertainment apps comparing to other hotels ⦠I would like to send my appreciation and love to all front desk especially Nabila who was so attentive, kind and helpful with any demand that I asked for she was so kind and smiles never leave her face thank you so much ⦠also her colleagues boys and girls were so kind too ⦠I hope that the management of the hotel accounting my feedback of my experience on its assuages and be more trustworthy according to the images that were displayed at the booking apps ⦠thank...

The hotel was probably well-organized and equipped at some point in the past, but that time is long gone. We ignored the low ratings and negative reviewsāand that was a big mistake. Always read the reviews!
Hereās why we chose this hotel: its convenient location near the city center. The only positives: the hotel is within walking distance of good shopping malls and public transport. The reception staff was polite, and the breakfast was a standard Indonesian-style meal (not abundant, but you can find something to eat).
Major drawbacks: The first three floors are for non-smoking rooms, but we were on the 3rd floor, and there was a strong smell of cigarettes in the hallway and elevator. The room was very small, with a window covered in film. Huge clumps of dust were visible on the desk in front of the window, clearly untouched for a long time. The bathroom had a tiny sink that made it nearly impossible to wash upāitās more like a water bowl, and water spills all over the floor. Hooks or holders for towels were previously on the bathroom walls but are now missing, leaving no place to hang towels. The air conditioner emits an unpleasant smell when turned on. Thereās no closet for personal items; just a hook on the wall with two hangers near the window. Thereās no safe in the room (or we couldnāt find one). Outside the hotel, random people were sitting directly on the ground along the roadside.
Overall impression: extremely modest accommodations at a relatively high price, with an unpleasant...

I found stained on the sink, cooler and on the shower walls. Floors wasnāt cleaned properly. I had the security with me and he witnessed what happened with the room. I told him to spray the room. He then went down stairs to inform the house keeping. Later on, he came with a bottle of spray can. He then sprayed the whole entire room. |I called 0, and connect me to the receptionist and letting him know how bad was the room. No shower gels, room was untidy. And I had to informed the receptionist if the room was untidy and an emptied bottle hang on the wall without any gels . She accomodate my request as I went out for a walk. |Itās clearly I had requested for a non smoking room with a large bed. And all I got an attitude and rude behavior from the receptionist girls. I asked them to show me the another room, but they refused to show me. Theyāre made so much excuses which Iām not happy to hear from them . |Later on, they told me if I had to pay extra money of $10 for the whole stay. Because it was a standard type room. Which I was confused to hear that. |This experience never happened to me in any hotel . |The only good things about this hotel is the location. Location is a gem to me. Because it was walking distance to all shopping centres, street foods, and convenience to anywhere....
