The place is awesome. The ambience is superb. Beach is like 1 min walk from hotel just across a street. The hotel has a private entrance to the beach area. The pool is really cool with a swim in bar.
On checkin they provide coupons for welcome drink, food coupons for breakfast /lunch/dinner (if applicable) and 10 min free spa massage.
The bedroom was very good. The room I took was a Super Double Delux (~130$ / night) and it was very spacious. The only drawback that I saw was the AC was too slow to cool as they have put up a 1ton ac for such a big room. So for cooling it will take around like 30 mins. I requested for a honeymoon decoration and they have done a wonderful job with that and even surprised us with a honeymoon cake.
The bathroom is not so good. The main issue being the water is salty and is having a slight foul smell. The shower in the bathroom was not at all good. Will take about 15 mins to take a shower as water is only drizzling through it.
The staff is very friendly, always welcomes guests with a smile.
The breakfast was just stunning. A wide variety of dishes are available. The staff serves coffee and tea and on the table.
Overall the place is good for a vacation and stunning...
Read moreWould not recommend staying here. As someone with poor knees, the raised cobblestone style pavers used in the walkways make it very difficult and painful to walk on. The pavers are all uneven and there’s holes where drainage pits big enough to trip over. There is multiple sets of stairs, ramps and a long walk from foyer to the villas and pool. The overall condition of the place is poor, everywhere you look there was dirty, mouldy, broken, cracked. The poolside villa rooms were meant to be the best they had, but were do run down, smelly and old. The fridge didn’t work. There wasn’t enough water pressure to use the shower. The front door was damaged and didn’t close properly letting the mozzies in. Couches very uncomfortable. To top it off they allowed a group of Arab’s to have the biggest kids 4 yo party with loud thumping music till very late. We left covered in mozzie bites. Food at restaurant Was very average, you had to beg for coffee then they deliver to wrong table. Bacon burnt and tasted weird. No condiments to use. Staff at restaurant just hid in corner, didn’t clear tables or interact with guests, never asked to refill coffee or assist...
Read moreMy partner and I stayed at Puri Saron last week. I would never normally write a review of bad service but after I got Bali Belly and no assistance I feel like I need to, to warn others. Last Friday morning I woke up with cramps and wasnt feeling well. The bf encouraged me to have some breakfast so while we were sitting at the buffet i ate one piece of pawpaw and had to leave because I felt nauseous. I didn't make it back to my room and was virtually passed out on the grass vomiting. Not one person (staff and guests) came over to see if I was ok. My bf went to reception to ask if they have anything for Bali Belly of which the staff responded "we dont have a dr here". He really should of insisted that they called one but he didn't because we were in a rush to leave for the airport. By the time we got to the airport I could barely stand. Luckily the lady at the check in counter called a dr to come get me straight away. I would not recommend staying at Puri Saron. The rooms weren't clean, the food was horrible and most importantly they couldn't help me when I really needed to see a dr. I had previously stayed at Pelangi next door and they are...
