When it comes to food, Cocoon’s menu is a delightful mix of local classics and Australian staples. From fresh seafood to mouthwatering burgers, there’s something for everyone. If you’re a seafood lover, I highly recommend trying the locally caught dory fish and chips. The fish is perfectly crispy on the outside and soft and tender on the inside, making it a truly superb dish. I also, went for a second visit due to the first being so good to try the fish cake starter and the pork schnitzel. Yum!
In addition to the delicious food, Cocoon boasts a friendly and attentive staff. The staff members at Cocoon are always ready to assist and ensure that you have a memorable experience. Their warm and welcoming demeanor adds to the overall ambiance of the place, making you feel right at home.

Read moreWe visited Cocoon Bar Lounge about a week ago and i was liking the place with the calm white wash decor. our trip was for light chat and drink but after seeing the menu, we were intriqued by the selection. that's when things goin south, the menu were overpriced. we ordered shrimps, chicken, pasta, scallops and drinks. i specificly asked the waiter if the shrimp is fresh, please check again because i have bad allergy with stale shrimp. she said it's fresh.. okay, the shrimps eventually came out in skewers 6 of them, from the looks of them already i noticed black shrimp heads, what make it worse... it's smelly. (i wonder what the cook doing back there??? i asked the waiter what happened? she just said it's normal like this.) we end up only trying one skewer each and leaving the rest. the spicy chicken wings i ordered wasn't anywhere near spicy, and hot chili isn't my fav's sauce. the wings was plain deep fried served with 1/8 wedge of a lemon. next thing is the scallop, my colleague of mine ordered one and it came out with only 4 small scallops and it was not fresh, more like refreezed scallops.
overall experience wasn't that good, especially if you are looking for place to eat. The thing is Cocoon could be potential great place with decor and rumors that the music here is good, but we didn't experience it because it was in late afternoon. the food... is nothing to be desired, the staff even thou look friendly but doesn't care about the stuff being sent out of the kitchen.
oh well, hopefully the music is very good at night. maybe i'll give...
Read moreCame here with the family around midday on a Wednesday and the place was reasonably quiet so we didn't have a problem finding seating.
There were more staff than customers by the pool which isn't necessarily a bad thing but we felt pressured to order as we were being literally asked every couple of minutes after having sat down.... But that's better than having no one there to serve you!
Unlike other beach clubs there is no entry fee but the prices are a little higher Ave the menu prices don't include 8% service charge and 10% tax so keep that in mind.
We ordered several drinks whilst we were there and had a few tapas which the kids enjoyed.
Pool water was quite warm which was great... The pool was nice and had seating within the pool so you could sit and watch people walk along the street. It was nice that you could have your drinks in the pool.
As others have said, not much of a beach view as you are behind buildings with only a small gap allowing you to are some of the water.
There place could do with a few costs of paint and freshen up but overall it was in good shape.. Just a little worn.
We enjoyed our time here and happy...
