RakaAyu Kuta — Hotel in Kuta

Positive :|- Close to the airport|- Clean room||Negative : |Almost everything :|- beware of stains on the sheets, check them upon arrival because (yes you read correctly) they will check your room and the sheets and won't hesitate to comme with them at the reception to ask if you did some stains (trying to get money from you of course), luckily I had read that in other comments so I checked but I missed one and the girl litterally came to the reception with the pillow! It was not me because I don't put make up but they tried...|- room next to the reception very noisy because employees start talking out loud at 6am|- they refuse to give the room upon arrival (rooms were available) at 12 because it is written 2pm in the hotel policy no flexibility|- deposit has to be made for the key, and if you don't have any money yet, they keep your passport I have never had that in any hotel I've been to|- breakfast : you can have any type of eggs but fried, because it is not offered on the menu (but if you order an indonesian breakfast, it arrives with guess what, fried egg on top of it again, no flexibility (what's the difference between cooking an omelette or fried eggs, especially if they are cooking them for the indonesian breakfast)|- breakfast again : they forgot my breakfast on the 2d day sot I had to wait 30 minutes for it|- very loud mosque next to the hotel (normally I check because I am a very light sleeper and this time I forgot), even with earplugs you'll be...

We arrived at 1AM and it was easy to checkin in. - They had the air conditioning running. Amazing location to just walk around and explore the local warungs and culture. The beds are very comfortable. Breakfast is served if you opt for it. Bathroom shower is good but run the water for good 5 minutes before you arrive at the desired temperature before you step in. Remember this. Absolute deal for the location and price. Grab a room early or you won't get one. Good sized balcony Beautiful courtyard and swimming pool if you want to relax High quality amenities for what you pay, for example good quality toilet paper.

Negatives

Birds in cages sing beautifully but that's a sad sight. Sounds/noises 'can' be heard from adjacent rooms if someone checks in late. Carry ear plugs. Be careful with the shower, it can burn you, run the water for 5 minutes. Yes, I know I already mentioned this. You can thank me later.
