Arey, bhai! What can I say about Lambodar Indian Food? My search for proper, ghar-ka-khana (home-style food) in Bali has finally come to an end.
GrabFood ki service toh ek number hai hi, but the food... aah, the food! It reached me piping hot, just like it came fresh from the tawa.
The quality of the food is truly fantastic. It doesn't feel heavy or oily at all. You can tell they don't use any of that additives or artificial food coloring nonsense. It feels like a genuine, healthy meal, the kind your mother or dadi would make. Pure goodness, full of heart and flavor.
Now, let's talk about the taste. The authenticity, yaar, it's just mind-blowing. The Chole Bhature was absolutely on point. The chole were cooked to perfection, with just the right mix of masalas, and the bhature were soft and not a drop of oil was sticking to them. My mouth is watering just thinking about it.
The Aloo Sabji reminded me of my childhood, simple and full of flavor, just like the one you get at a roadside dhaba back home. It was truly a taste of nostalgia.
And the paneer dishes... oh ho ho! The Paneer Butter Masala was so creamy and delicious, not too sweet, not too tangy, just perfect. The paneer was so soft, it just melted in my mouth. And the Paneer Tikka... uff! It tasted just like the paneer tikka from a top restaurant in Delhi.
Lambodar Indian Food has earned a permanent spot on my Bali’s favorites list. For anyone craving genuine, authentic, and healthy Indian food in Bali, this is the place to order from.

Read moreLooking at the review, we decided to try. But for our luck we had a very bad experience. No regrets from the staff. Along with other dishes, we ordered pulav with medium spice. First, the pulav tasted like biryani, probably due to the same biryani masala used during the preparation. The medium spiciness was so spicy that we requested raitha, but they offered for additional purchase. Seriously, these guys are there for money for poor quality food provided. Be careful if you have a very sensitive stomach.
Update: I was surprised the owner reached out to me about the concern and was very open in listening or suggestions and assured it will be conveyed to the kitchen staff. Hope next time when we are in this town we will visit just for the reason the owner is very respectful of the customer. Thank you. 5 star...
