Got here on May 3, 2021. We booked for 3 nights and would extend our stay for another one or two days since the rate is so worth it. For less than 30 USD, you've got a very spacious room completed with a small dining area, a living room with sofabed, small pantry, a bath room with a bath tub, and a balcony if your room isn't on the ground level.
Being on the ground level, you've got the direct access to their pool and lobby area. Also the layout of the room on the first level is more efficient and comfortable. The pool is quite big and clean. Unfortunately, their wifi isn't good enough for you who need speed.
The service is quite great and the staff are very helpful. Because of COVID-19, the hotel had to let go half of their staff and close their kitchen, so you better prepare your morning tea or coffee and all the groceries needed. If you forget to prepare yourself, the staff are more than ready to help you buy the simple things you needed.
They provide the mineral water, bath robe and towels, but no amenities, except the hand wash. The hair dryer is very weak, but for short hair people, it's still usable. Though the privacy on level one is more guaranteed, don't be surprised by their transparent bathroom view from the bed on the second and third floor I guess LOL. You better get here with your closest one, best friends or family. Oh, the good side is the bathrooms on the second floor have two access, from its main access and from the side of your bed. Nice finding 😁
The parking space only fits for 2 cars and some bikes, and I recommend you to enter by facing the pathway with the back of your car first. Trust me, it would ease you to park your vehicle. The location is strategic enough without compensating with noise and crowd. Overall, this would be a good experience for staying in Bali and I recommend you guys to book a room here. Thank you for their best effort in giving service in such a hard pandemic situation. Keep up the good work!
*Note: most of my pics were taken when I stayed on the second floor (I've moved to the ground level on my...
Read moreWhen we arrived the service was brilliant and a lovely way to start our holiday with a welcome drink and a lady showed us to our room. The bed had happy birthday written on it which was a sweet touch as it being my birthday this week. If your driving there aren't many spaces so I wouldn't recommend driving here. There is a shuttle bus but the times are not organised very well plus it's limited. It is first comes first served to book as it's a member of staff and their car that takes you. The suite was beautiful and the bed and pillows were extremely comfotable. It could be a bit cleaner as the suite was a bit grubby and finger marks everywhere but that didn't bother us. The sheets and towels smell amazing so they were very clean and every day we had fresh towels and the room was cleaned. It was funny as the room was cleaner the 2nd day here than when we arrived. But overall the staff are extremly welcoming and happy to see you. No issue is a problem plus every time any of them saw us they always made an effort to talk to us which we loved. We spent 3 nights here and was a perfect amount. It is away from the hussle and bussle and is a lovely place. Plus we walked into seminyak and to local places to eat and felt it was perfectly located if you like walking. There was one downer which was upon arrival and when we left they were trying to get us to pay for the room again. I had to prove i had paid twice and had to remind the young women that she did take a copy of my booking when we arrived luckily I had printed this out from booking.com. Hopefully nothing more will come from this as we have just left and they did seem apologetic. They also organised us a taxi to ubud to our next hotel and the price was cheaper than the taxis we had looked into. So if your traveling around book a taxi through them. Overall we loved it and if ever visit Bali again we would come back. Thank you for making us feel so at home and for being so warm and welcoming we will be...
Read moreI imagine when the property was built it was stunning. the floors are marble and wood, the rooms are a lovely size. Sadly, it has been let go severely. ||Our room, 105 on the end of the ground floor had rotting floorboards, and the room was so damp that the key card control had been disabled so that the a/c could run 24/7 to combat the wet that appeared almost instantaneously whenever it was turned off. This was particularly dangerous as the marble floors became like an ice rink so we had to lay towels everywhere.||The shower head spat water in every direction except mostly down and clearly needs a very good clean. ||There was a leak from the suite above which dripped constantly by the sink in the bathroom.||We had a pillow absolutely covered in mould - this had obviously been seen by the housekeepers and it was only by chance we glimpsed inside the pillow case and saw it - the staff member who came to replace it was horrified.||Mould is growing up most of the bottoms of the walls.||The mattress I imagine is many many years old and needs replacing as it is so soft as to be uncomfortable.||The ground floor rooms do not have balconies and outside seating like the first floor rooms even though they are described as having balconies.||We did let maintenance know about the issues while we were at Mokko and they did what they could but the level of disrepair is substantial.||The location is at the end of Umalas 1 and quite a walk to any restaurants or stores.||The staff were very helpful throughout our...
