Hotel il Molino — Hotel in Benevento

This is a nice, modern, and clean hotel. The lady at the front desk was great. She spoke perfect English and stored our bicycles in a secured room until we left. Her recommendation for dinner (at Ristorante Nunzia IIRC) was excellent. When we left the following morning, she insisted to refill our water bottles with bottled water even though we said water from the faucet was fine.||||The only negatives were that the neighborhood it's located in looks kind of dumpy. I guess that's why the hotel looks like it's in some sort of compound surrounded by lots of land and trees. The other negative is that the parking lot should have been lit at night so we could see where we were walking. There were lights but they didn't...

We found the hotel (at which we had booked) because of the road signs, although when we tried to return later in the day, the road signs led us astray. When we arrived, we first thought it was closed -- no cars in the parking area, a tape blocking the entrance. But it was open and welcoming. It is a lovely modern hotel with weird elevator controls -- inside the elevator, one had to strain to see the number to touch. (The numbers in my photo are much more obvious than in real life.) Abbiamo alloggiato il 13 e il 14 Febbraio dove avevamo incluso cena colazione e pranzo.inizio nel fare i complimenti allo chef, abbiamo mangiato veramente bene, il servizio al tavolo ottimo, le due ragazze che ci hanno servito molto cordiali,la colazione buona e abbondante ma da ridire sul resto, appena arrivati siamo stati accolti da un uomo di mezza età ci ha dato la camera 114 al primo piano, molto bella e spaziosa, dopo la doccia avevamo bisogno di usare il phon che si accendeva ad intermittenza fin quando improvvisamente una lampa di fuoco che partiva dal filo del phon non mi ha bruciato mezza mano. Cercavamo un numero in camera per chiamare la reception ma niente in stanza non esiste così il mio ragazzo decide di scendere per comunicare l'accaduto e chiedere un phon di ricambio o comunque una soluzione, ci viene risposto sempre da quell'uomo che phon non ci sono e che al momento il problema non si poteva risolvere, quindi secondo voi dovevo restare con i capelli bagnati? Fortunatamente nella stanza vicino n 113 c'erano i nostri amici e per non continuare a fare polemica abbiamo lasciato tutto com'era... Scendiamo a cena e poiché avevo la mano che mi bruciava abbiamo chiesto se avevano una crema per le scottature e neanche quella c'era... Al rientro in stanza un ticchettio che proveniva dal soffitto ci ha accompagnato per tutta la notte... Il giorno seguente dopo pranzo siamo andati in reception per saldare il conto e ci ritroviamo di nuovo lo stesso uomo, alla mia richiesta di un attenzione per tutto l'accaduto mi risponde che quello che è successo in albergo sarebbe potuto succedere anche a casa mia e che quello non era un problema dell'albergo, con un arroganza e una presunzione che veramente avremmo dovuto chiamare i carabinieri ed esporre il tutto..
