We booked an apartment with two bedrooms and a balcony for one week. The apartment didn’t look at all as expected, based on the photographs. The balcony is more like a French balcony and is located in one of the bedrooms. Only one person can stand (no room to sit!) on the balcony. That’s also the only view that faces a street, the other windows are placed straight into a wall. There’s airco in all rooms, but they’re weak and not possible to adjust to a cooler temperature. Kitchen equipment is very basic, no microwave (there is one on the 1st floor but we weren’t allowed to use it). The wifi is free but only available in the livingroom, it doesn’t reach the bedrooms. Towels and bedlinen were changed once and the apartment was cleaned once as well. The best thing about the apartment is the location, it’s right in the old town with a local bus stop, bakery and a small...
Read moreThis apart-hotel is placed right in the middle of the Cagliari town, within walking distance of several buzzing piazza's and terraces with amazing sunset views. It's also only a 10/15-minute walk to the bus stops/station should you fancy heading to Poetto or on a day trip to Villasimius or Chia! ||||Our suite was incredibly spacious, with a domed ceiling and two huge French doors with little balconies - very grand. The decor was traditional and minimalist-chic and the en-suite was modern and clean. The Wi-Fi was a little temperamental, but mostly fine. ||||The owner and her daughter were extremely helpful in recommending areas to dine and drink, as well as nearby towns and beaches to visit. Prepare yourself for a bit of an up-hill slog, but it's worth it as you stumble upon cute Italian streets, traditional architecture and nice views. Would deff recommend...
Read moreI stayed in these beautiful apartments as the chaperone of a school group for two nights. The rooms on the top floor have a great view of the Mediterranean. The building has the character that comes with age, but all the modern amenities. We had a few small issues: not enough hot water for a group of nine girls spread between two rooms to finish there showers, Wi-Fi not working in the first floor rooms, nearest. I’d give up Wi-Fi and take a quick shower to stay in this wonderful place again. Keep in mind that there is no permanent staff on site and that the nearest parking is 5-10 minutes walk from the hotel. The friendly owner did drop in to check on us in the middle...
