Cafè Plazuela — Restaurant in Cagliari

We stumbled upon this little café in the back streets of the cathedral area and we were hungry and tired and decided to try it out, it had been a long day, travelling from London to Cagliari. We sat down after asking if it was OK, and was told sure, we'll be with you shortly. After 10 minutes the waiter, who was extremely friendly and on his own took our order of a grande tagliere €12 and a feta and olive insalata €9 2 glasses of Sardinian wine €11. The food arrived in good time and the tagliere was great and the salad average, wine nice and quaffable. Lovely place to have a coffee, decided to come back as previously had a good experience. However, as we returned, waitress informed us we had not paid the bill from the previous day, we knew that was wrong but didn’t bring the receipt. My partner paid in cash to the manager on site but she didn’t recognise him, so we had to then pay again as there was no other way around it. Waitress was understanding but we’re not happy with the overall experience as it was poor management from their team, we then decided to find a better place for refreshments.

Vorrei rispondere cortesemente a Francesca Cannas, sono il cameriere gentile :-) Sai Francesca a volte bisognerebbe considerare un po' le attenutanti. Giustamente, come sostieni, un cameriere in più avrebbe sicuramente fatto comodo e sarebbe stato essenziale anche per far si che il bicchiere non arrivasse caldo a tavola ad esempio. Abbiamo gestito l intera giornata in sole 2 persone, io a correre tra i tavoli e il mio collega a occuparsi di tutti i drinks, i clienti al bancone, la macchina lavastoviglie da gestire e i conti da incassare. Ora ci terrei a precisare che la mancanza di personale era dovuta al fatto che abbiamo dovuto gestire all'ultimo l assenza di un dipendente per malattia ed è stato impossibile trovare un sostituto perché giustamente chiunque cerca di pianificare in anticipo Pasqua e Pasquetta. Ci tengo anche a sottolineare che eravamo l'unico bar aperto di tutto il Castello quindi la mole di lavoro da gestire sarebbe stata eccessiva anche con staff al completo. Il Plazuela, da quando lo gestisce Ambra non è mai stato un locale che lesina sulle quantità, sulla qualità o sul personale. D 'altronde la veridicità del mio commento è ampiamente dimostrata dall'affetto espresso da tantissime persone che hanno messo 5 stelle. Le stelle, già.....possono sembrare un gioco, in realtà son capaci di far disastri. Insomma credo che 1 stella non ce la meritiamo proprio. Cmq ti invito a passare prossimamente, saremo lieti di rimediare il disservizio. Saluti e...
