Le Suite sul Corso — Hotel in Cagliari

We booked last minute. The place is in the heart of Cagliari and it's close to practically everything (10-15min drive with a cab, the city center and sightseeings). Elena was at Reception and she made us feel so welcome and was really nice and patient (we had no idea what to do, where to go or whatsoever). She not only gave us recommendations, but helped us organize the bookings, transport and found us a place to stay. Who does that?!??! Breakfast was at the bar nearby which was great - you could socialize with locals. BTW, the interior design is inspired by the traditional Sardinian architecture and we loved it!!! The place was also mega clean. We didn't pay that much and we got space & privacy, which is priceless!!! Totally...

I've never written a review before, but this place is just amazing. It's right in the center of town and yet very tranquil. The rooms are beautiful, with simple but elegant furnishings - the photos on the website don't do it justice. And the service is exceptional. When I made the booking, I asked about getting some breakfast on our departure day, as we had a 6:30 am flight. I was told it would be no problem. But I was stunned when, without my having to ask or to remind anyone, I found the makings of a continental breakfast set out on a tray in our room the evening before. The place is very well located right in the heart of old Cagliari. We had a big, comfortable room. We asked for a quiet room, but the place was full, and the only one available was on the first floor at the front. The receptionist (who was very helpful) offered us ear plugs, but we already had some. We were there on a Monday and a Tuesday night, and the wine bar next door had live musicians (of varying ability) performing very loud outside until between 2300 and 2400. Not sure how late they go on on other nights. But if you're after peace and quiet, ask for a room...
