The good ... "Historical centre" is 15-30 min away. Conveniently located near the railway station (there's a catch though). A quiet side street with a major tram stop in front. Main rental car companies + a multi level parking are two blocks (10 min) away and outside of ZTL which makes renting and keeping a rental car very convenient. Smooth check-in and check-out and good service overall. A problem with our room was solved right there and then by being offered an instant replacement. Good hygiene. Bed linen and bath towels changed frequently. Due to Covid-19 restrictions breakfast was served in the room - a pre-packed breakfast box containing portioned breakfast items, with coffee, butter and a bread basket in addition. Plentiful. ...the bad ... Breakfast is the same every morning and consisting mostly of "dolce" stuff. Room 601 that is of the "family" type has a naked mattress on an elevated podium that is meant perhaps to accommodate a third person; in the case of two people occupying this is rather useless, unpleasant, and a waste of space. Wear and tear starts to be visible. No ventilation in bathroom of 601, gets steamy after a shower. ... and the ugly Room 404 that we were given initially and especially its bathroom reeked of stale cigarette smoke (we were offered a replacement room) The neighbourhood is not prime, but again, it's 200 metres away from the railways station and we should have anticipated that.

For a 4 star hotel, I was slightly disappointed by the standards of the hotel room. We booked one with a balcony which was nice (although I feel the balcony barrier should be taller for safety reasons) but bits of the floor was falling apart. It's fine enough if you give it a bit of a stamp. I forgot to mention this to reception but surely this is obvious to escalate from the likes of the cleaners. Also the air con might do with a clean. It was very hot so this needed to be on to have a comfortable night's sleep, however this caused me to have a very dry throat for the rest of my stay in Florence. The breakfast was disappointing- there needed to be more of a choice including meat. These cons aside, the pool is great and was a delightful break from the tiring sightseeing of the city and the spa was immaculate and kept to a high standard. Service was good too. Overall I did enjoy my stay but there are improvements required which can easily be addressed to keep it at a 4 star hotel.

Nice and friendly Hotel close to the center and the centra station. The Hotel is placed close to the station and opposite a tram stop. Perfect if you arrive from the airport just jump in the tram and get out in front of the Hotel. Our Room was on the fourth floor with a great view over the city. The nose isolation in the rooms is good so you only hear a distance noise from the station and the tram. The rooms are modern and like the whole hotel nice and clean. The SPA is great to relax after a long walk in the city. Breakfast is okay, the staff friendly and helpful. We had some small misunderstandings for the breakfast and SPA booking s but everything was solved super friendly and without any issues. Overall a good place to stay to discover Florence and Tuscany.

The hotel staff could have been more attentive and polite during my stay. Only one lady in brunette was really attentive and informative to let us know the timing of the breakfast and swimming pool, cheers to her, the only thing that was great here.1. In the afternoon, a middle-aged blonde lady and a thin on top middle-aged a is being blatantly disrespectful and rude during our check in process. Since we have 4 rooms in total and have already checked-in two rooms early in the morning under clean status, two rooms was informed to be clean in the afternoon. We returned and explained to the blonde lady words by words telling that we are now needing the remaining two rooms, she doesnt understand simple english to acknowledge the situation and are not proactive to assist at all. And the middle-aged man doesn't look at you in a friendly manner, gabbering in italian with the blonde lady while looking at us like rubbish. Which makes us arriving at conclusion that Asian looking people are not entitled to good (at least decent) services? 2. The room doesn't look as good as you see on the photos, not as clean and bright as it was. All we had was rooms that were dim, broken door locks and molded corners.3. There's always the issue with mosquitoes for two nights which made it difficult to sleep comfortably. Bugs were all around and noticed some spiders webs are found in the shower area which should me cleaned more thoroughly. Hygiene is so poor, can be told with a molded and unresponsive air conditioner. 4. The bathroom towels had an unpleasant odor. 5. Breakfast was short in selections, even no butter to be provided during weekdays.6. During the check out process, we were accused of two coke consumptions in room. We only bought coke in the supermarket ourselves, does it mean that the staff here haven't checked the room/mini bar thoroughly but found two empty bottles of coke in the bin and assumed we consumed their coke and asking us to pay extra?Overall, the hotel fell short of meeting my expectations for the price paid. I would recommend the management address these cleanliness and customer service concerns to improve the guest experience. To all Asian friends, don't humiliate your self by choosing this place. With this price point ($280 per night) but the level of services, everything is...

Great location. This hotel is 3 meters away from Rotelli tram station. Also 5 minutes walking distance from Firenze Central Train Station. Building is new, clean and modern. Entrance to your room and light & HVAC is controlled by simple touch. AC is extremely good. Cold air waves greet you as soon as you enter your room. This literally is a blessing considering summer temperature of Firenze goes up as high as 39 degree Celsius. We visited Firenze two days, Aug 12 & 13. As for food, I highly recommend to have breakfast buffet on first floor. Quality of food and service is very good. I particularly liked fresh orange juice. There is a squeezing machine on a corner. You can squeeze your own orange juice from scratch. Now, last but not least, the service. Clean room, clean sheets. Lighted wardrobe. Lots of towels and electric outlets on the wall. Assistance by Providenza was also very helpful. You ask for a taxi. You get a note on which is written estimated waiting time, taxi company name & number. Need more towels in the middle of the night ? You get ‘em right away. She always had smile on her face when she greeted customers including me. My family stayed at a room on first floor. This turned out to be a very good choice since my room was literally steps away from front desk. And yet, the room was very quiet. You can get massage and spa in underground if you are exhausted from sightseeing or shopping. Most of facilities inside hotel is barrier-free. This is very important factor to consider in case you or your companion is handicapped. Check with hotel if you have specific needs. All in all, if you want a hotel with good location, food and service in Firenze,...

Avoid like the plague! 1 star is generous for the lack of customer service and communication received from this hotel. My parents booked a city break to Florence a couple of months back to be enjoyed with friends. They booked via Love Holidays and selected this hotel due to wanting to stay in the same hotel as their friends. The flight went smoothly but upon arriving to the hotel and speaking to the front desk, the receptionist told my mum that her booking had been cancelled. You can imagine this is not the best start to such a short city break or any holiday for that matter! The receptionist was rude and told my mum that she had been the one to cancel even though she had no emails & no correspondence from either the hotel or Love Holidays. When my mum questioned the receptionist he looked sheepish, ignored her and refused to help and continued to help check in other guests. There was no sense of going above and beyond to find a room so they could remain with the rest of the party nor an apology for that matter. Having been left in the corner of the lobby frantically panicking about what to do, the receptionist did everything they could to avoid eye contact. Thankfully Love Holidays were superb, once my mum called them they had told her that the hotel had cancelled her booking but failed to update Love Holidays therefore not arranging an alternative. Love Holidays reimbursed my parents for a hotel which they had to find on booking.com later that day. If you are thinking of booking this hotel with a package holiday then please be wary as I would hate for this to...
