Hotel Porta Reale**** — Hotel in Noto

This hotel made our stay in Noto just perfect! It is conveniently situated just inside Porta Reale. We drove to Noto from Porto di Pozzallo as we came by ferry from Malta. The staff were expecting us, first full points! We did as instructed beforehand and drove to the hotel a few metres into the pedestrian area. And from then on, perfect service. The valet took out our luggage into the hotel and went to park our car. Check in was a breeze. The hotel is right on the main street of Noto. Noto is a jewel in Sicily's crown and Hotel Porta Reale is excellent for exploring it. There is plenty of shopping for special items of all sorts - jewellery for various budgets, clothes to suit all tastes and pockets, food delicacies and wines, and a lovely market selling very good quality crafts and accessories just outside Porta Reale. Restaurants are abundant just a few minutes walk from the hotel. There are of course, and most importantly, the Baroque treasures of Noto, all within walking distance, beautiful buildings that are awesome by day and magical by night! The hotel is extremely clean and tastefully furnished, bed comfortable, beautifully soft white towels, crisp white bedlinen, toiletries and a very efficient and very silent ac! Breakfast was lovely as we look for Sicilian fare and this was just that! Staff were all very nice and extremely obliging, including the car valeting service and the lady in charge of breakfast.|From Noto it was very easy to visit Ragusa Ibla, Modica, Ispica, Lido di Noto and Marzamemi. We just picked up our car from the garage and returned it when we came back from our trips. Parking cost €20 per day, worth every cent. This is definitely the hotel...

We stayed at the Porto Reale, Noto from May 30th to June 13th. It was our first trip to Sicily.|The hotel accommodated in an apartment annexe that was large and well equipped. Domestic staff cleaned every day .|Our stay included breakfast which was had in the hotel breakfast room. The choice, variety and quality of food was excellent with lovely friendly staff to help if needed.|We have stayed in hotels in the UK, the USA and Europe. The quality that made Porto Reale stand out is the staff. They were outstanding in their customer service, e.g. arranging very reasonable car hire, delivering the car to the hotel door every morning and car parking at the end of each day, towels for the beach etc etc. The staff were always friendly and welcoming - they really wanted to help us enjoy our stay in the hotel and enjoy Sicily.|We thoroughly recommend the Hotel Porto Reale and its...

We booked the appartement for 2 adults with 1 bedroom at the hotel. When we contacted the hotel about accommodating our two year old as well, the communication with the front desk employer via chat/e-mail was very difficult. On the website and booking it wasn’t clear if the appartement had an extra room or not. When I called him to talk about our options (can she sleep on the sofa bed or something else) he somehow managed to lose his temper. He was rude and yelled at me. His solution was to not accommodate our daughter (as if we can leave her somewhere behind) or to cancel the reservation and pay the cancellation fees (€180). He then hung up on me.
