What a very cosy restaurant. We loved the decor - very cleverly incorporating the original brick and stone work, but still managing to make somewhere that felt light and airy. The food was mostly excellent - the ravioli filled with ricotta in a swordfish sauce were outstanding and amongst the nicest things we ate in Sicily. The staff are incredibly friendly and warm. The selection of wine was good and the staff were very willing to make recommendations as to the best to match our food. Food was very mediocre for the price. We paid 60 euros for one glass of wine each, a shared antipasti, and one secondi dish each. The rabbit secondi was very dry, and I didn't want to finish it. It's a shame!
The atmosphere was also a bit flat, though appreciate we were eating an early dinner, at 7pm. The owner/manager was just sat behind the counter engrossed in his phone, and didn't make any effort to greet or say hello.
