DO NOT STAY HERE. We saw a ton of good reviews and are not strangers to staying abroad, so we felt confident in this choice. The location IS excellent, and the gentleman that checked us in was lovely. However, upon entering our room we were blasted by the scent of urine. Only two outlets in the room worked, the TV did not work, the coffee machine in the room was broken (though conveniently plugged into one of said working outlets), the toilet was constantly running, and there was very obvious mold in the shower. In fact, I would bet more than the exorbitant amount of money that we spent on that room that the shower had never been within 3 feet of a cleaning product. We wanted to leave, but knew that there was no way in hell we would get our money back. We are very non-confrontational and DEFINITELY did not want to be difficult obnoxious tourists, so my partner and I agreed that rather than complaining or asking for a refund, we would ask that housekeeping maybe do an extra clean of the bathroom. My partner speaks Italian well enough, so we opted to have him do the speaking. Before he even finished his sentence, the man at the front desk (not the aforementioned lovely one) started vehemently arguing and denying that there was mold in the shower. I took issue with this for 3 reasons: 1. My partner hadn't even FINISHED his sentence, so I suspect this is a complaint they had heard before. 2. It absolutely WAS mold because it was black, some was fuzzy, and it could be wiped away, so it wasn't just "old tile" like the man insisted. 3. We didn't accuse them of anything, we didn't complain, and we didn't ask for our money back! We just said "Hey, we noticed...would you mind..." and this man acted like we threatened to kill his mother. We just said okay and left for the day, hoping that they might clean the bathroom anyway. They did not. I also found the breakfast to be quite disappointing for the price point, though the breakfast staff was quite nice. The only really good thing I can say about this place is that we didn't get bedbugs....so silver lining, I guess. Anyway, if you would like to be in a good location and enjoy being in a space that would make a frat house feel clean, this is the hotel for you!

Edit - After posting this I noticed this hotel is listed as $52 per night. I have no idea where that is coming from, as we payed $882...

I’ll start on a good point- Great location.|We arrived literally this morning got our small double room- in the photos it shows a double bed with 2 pillows fitting side by side, this is not the case it is a tiny tiny bed it could only fit 1 pillows and 1 person. I am only 5 foot 10 and my fiancé is 5 foot and we are both thin and we couldn’t fit side by side on this bed. To mention as well this room was dirty, dust and dirt everywhere air con blowing out hot air as it was full of dust. We let them know we can’t sleep on that bed and they generously moved us to another room with a bigger bed, that’s about all it had. It was disgusting filth up the walls something I can only describe as a bogey also on the wall, a broken manikin in the corner trampled on chewing gum on the floor, broken shower door wobbly fridge sitting on top of an even wobblier table, bed was filthy too and stained. Plus when we shut one door something else in the room would bang happened with every door was like the roof was going to cave in, provided us with a bit of entertainment for a minute or two at least playing guess where the bang will come from. Don’t get me started on the lift it either works or it don’t one of them ones you might wind up trapped in, felt like the SAW movie or some claustrophobic escape room. ||We checked in at 12 this afternoon and checked out after exploring Rome and moved to a much better hotel priced the exact same! An actual chain with incredible facilities and clean rooms pricing the same as this dump. ||I promise I have stayed in some awful places in my time and stuck with it by telling myself it’s just a roof over my head whilst I explore the cities but this one I simply couldn’t! It was that bad, to top it off we were celebrating our engagement so was a real sour note. ||DO NOT TRUST THEIR PICTURES THEY ARE NOT THE ROOM YOU...

Ok so I’m not sure if it’s only my room but oh my Gosh when I tell you I suffer from dust allergies it’s a real thing! My immune system shuts down and it becomes harder to breath. THE AMOUNT OF DUST that was in my room was ridiculous! And the plants outside the window are not real so it has collected a lot of dust over time because it’s been neglected of cleanliness so when the room is hot and you need to open that window, you are inhaling it all in as well as my partner he was non stop sneezing-through the night let alone having it right under where we sleep! And he doesn’t even have an allergy to it! That’s how much dust there was laying around. I suffer from this allergy really bad so as soon as I went into the room I started to sneeze. I didn’t want to complain as I was hoping the cleaner the next day would realize all the collected dust and clean it but she didn’t clean it. Plus the staff are so friendly I was honestly too shy to complain. But I kid you not I’m back in the UK and I’m still suffering really bad, it takes a while for me to recover. The tv was never working all channels were static and my shower was working but would block so I’m literally standing in a pool of collected shower water and whatever is in the drain. I did not feel refreshed or clean in that room. But I was too busy enjoying Rome to give a damn. I guess I should have said something in the moment because I’m suffering really bad at the moment with my allergies. I hope the hotel staff see this message so you can correct the cleanliness of your rooms or specifically the one I...

The dirtiest hotel we have ever stayed at. We arrived at our first room and it smelled like mold and was not properly clean. Still water and blue soap in the shower and floor. We demanded a new room but the hotel said no and that we had to wait until the next day. We slept in the room with mold with the door open. The next day the management agreed that the room was dirty and ordered us a «better» room for an extra € 180. We had to pay as no other hotels close by had any free rooms. We paid €1,100 for the hotel with another extra €180. Very thin walls. We heard drunk people and couples fighting everyday. The new room also had mold in the shower. The shower did not work and they had to come and fix it 3 times. They left our door open while working with their back against the door. We came back to the room with dirty footsteps on the towels and a half-working shower. Breakfast was oily and bland. Open leaving we asked if they could call a taxi. They charged €65 to book a taxi, €15 over the maximun taxi price for a ride to the airport. Dont stay here if you would like to enjoy a Nice trip. They ruined our vacation with a dirty and moldy room. Employees working in the rooms Are very helpful. Two employees apologized but never the reception. The employees working the rooms said they knew the hotel was dirty and that they only worked there

We are staying now at this hotel after the luxury apartment we were staying at had a plumbing issue They put us in a standard room for a night and asked us to move for the remaining 2 nights to another building The shower is so moldy it's a health concern Towels are so used up they are thin and torn Electrical plugs don't work and aircon stopped working after few hours, we woke up in a bath of sweat with ac blowing hot air We called reception which said aircon stops at the end of summer. But i said it was working last night, and he had no answer, so obviously the guy at the reception doesnt know what he is talking about. It has been 25+ degrees outside the whole week and over 30 in this room as I'm writing this, turns out that the room next to us has control over our unit somehow and we couldn't change any setting, unbelievable stuff They sent a guy to hack the panel and try to make it work To top it off, the window opens on a tiny space where the cleaners use to lay the dirty mops and stuff, if we open it the smell comes in like a public toilet What a holiday
