We had a dinner here and the food was the worst I ever eaten. I will start with the positive side, the wait staff is polite and professional, I really feel bad for you guys that you have to serve this shit-show. Let's start with the appetizers. I had the bruschetta mix which was okay-ish but certanly had me worried for the things to come. The tomato one missied some garlic and olive oil for my taste, the pesto one had a slight bitter side taste which I cannot explain and the truffle one had a good flavour but the presentation is questionable to be honest. We also had the buffala and tomato toast, it lacked seasoning. I had the salame risotto which is unbeliveable. First of all, who is the genius who decided to attempt making risotto with some basmati or jasmine rice? Like what the hell???. The rice of course was half-raw which is expectable since its not a bloody risott.. okay I covered that already. Flavour wise it was really weird, it had this weird bitter side taste which still makes my stomach turn, after a bite I had to send it back and ask for the bill. The other dish we had was the seafood risotto. Same promblem with the rice, I still cannot comprehend it who the hell tho... okay I stop with the rice I promise. So the shrimp was served with it's gut still in which was full of waste, at least we know they had a nice last supper. Totally lacking any flavour, weird bitter side taste, the usual we already knew. This too was returned after a bite. Price wise these risotto's supposed to costs 20-25 euros which is beyond hilarious. Tl,dr never ever, ever ever come to this restaurant, you will be...

From the moment I walked in, the ambiance of Antica Osteria Croce was both elegant and cozy, setting the stage for a memorable meal. The decor, with its rustic touches and tasteful details, perfectly complemented the authentic Italian culinary experience that awaited.
The highlight of the evening was undoubtedly the impeccable service provided by our waiter, Mohib. His attentiveness, professionalism, and genuine warmth made us feel exceptionally welcome. Mohib was knowledgeable about the menu, offering insightful recommendations that enhanced our dining experience. He was always available when needed but never intrusive, striking the perfect balance that allowed us to enjoy our meal at a leisurely pace.
The food was simply outstanding. Each dish was a testament to the chef's dedication to quality and authenticity. The pasta was cooked to perfection, with rich, flavorful sauces that transported us straight to Italy. The main courses were equally impressive, with fresh, high-quality ingredients prepared with care and expertise. The wine list was extensive and well-curated, featuring selections that paired beautifully with our meal.
In addition to the delicious food, Mohib's service added a special touch to our evening. His friendly demeanor and attentive nature ensured that our glasses...
Read moreI ordered the fettuccine with meatballs (€18), but it tasted like it came from a can. The meatballs were not enjoyable at all. I’m sorry, but I didn’t come to Italy to eat something that tastes like canned food.
The fettuccine with shrimp and zucchini (€19) was also disappointing. The pasta was overcooked, the shrimp tasted like they were frozen, and the sauce was bland with no flavor.
As for the gnocchi with mussels and pecorino cheese (€10), several mussels had a strange smell, and one of them was completely spoiled. We told the staff about it, but since we didn’t want a replacement, they still charged us €10.
For the appetizer, we ordered the house platter with focaccia (Antipasto della casa con focaccia), and the staff also brought us a bruschetta with truffle and mushrooms. We thought it was included with the platter, but later saw it was charged separately. That was partly our fault for not asking, so just be sure to confirm what you’re getting if you dine here.
Also, note that this restaurant charges tips (“Tip is welcome” is printed on the receipt).
We visited this restaurant two years ago and had a really good experience. Unfortunately, this time was very different — we’re not sure...
