We stayed in the Deluxe Apartment. It was very spacious, well kept, tidy and modern! There is also adequate security, and since travelling with a small child I had peace of mind! Martina and Emanuele are both very friendly and helpful. We were able to walk to all major tourists attractions from the apartment and it's very close to the Pantheon and Trevi Fountain! Colosseum and Vatican city are are between a 20 - 30 minutes walk. It was also August so very hot but, the aircon worked wonderfully and also we had no mosquitos (which I read could be an issue visiting Rome in summer). I would stay in the apartment again and will recommend the apartment to friends and family. It's a great option if you have kids travelling with you! There's also a big walk in closet type room that we could pack our things in, we always had warm water for the showers , and we had a fridge and dishwasher too!
Around the apartment are lots of shops for groceries, restaurants and there is a great Gelato place with 150 different flavours as you walk out the door!
Only downside was the wifi was not working for us unfortunately, but the hosts queried it and it seemed to be an issue on the service providers side. They did give is an alternative option if we needed to use...
Read moreapartment hotel, clean, fast wifi but other than that below standard accommodation. the bathroom is very cold, specially in the morning and takes a while before you get warm water going. the windows in my room was sealed but you can get a good view of innergarden from the window by the stairs between bottom floor and 1st floor. I was surprised there was no trashcan in the room? they could simply make this a better hotel if they just added trashcans, bigger single beds, friendly staff though. overall it was a good experience and i recommend this hotel if you lived in hostels and not too picky but don't come here as couple, the walls are paper thin.||the neighboorhood is safe and quiet but trashy on the sidewalks, its working class immigrant neighbourhood and you can get a praiseworthy breakfast before you hit town, its near metro station Vittorio Emmanuele and by the metro is the gatsby cafe where you get live jazz and piano while enjoying...
Read moreWe stayed in August as a last minute trip, the room was very nice and clean and modern. Was cleaned everyday and fresh towels. The area where it is isn’t as great full of rubbish on the streets and homeless people. I wouldn’t want to be walking back to the room on my own at night that’s for sure! Didn’t feel very safe but the apartment itself has 3 doors to the room with a lock on each so felt very safe! Train station is a 10 min walk away and the busses are just the other side of the train station where you can get on easily and go to the Vatican City etc. There are many restaurants around and it’s possible to walk to the monuments and other restaurants further away from the apartment. We ended up walking 15 miles a day but it is also possible to get public transport if it’s too far to walk. ||All in all we had a very good 5 days city break and would...
