This is one of the larger Asian grocery stores in central Rome (ignore the reviews that say it is small). They have a case of fresh produce (cabbage, cilantro, green onions, ginger, peppers, tofu, cakes, juices, soju, etc.) at the front. The aisles are filled with sauces, spices, cooking wines, vinegars, oils, and dry goods (ramen, nori, panko, etc). I saw Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Thai, and Indian ingredients on the shelves. Frozen foods are at the back (dumplings, fish, rolls, wraps, noodles, etc), along with kitchen appliances and utensils (rice cookers, woks, chopsticks and crockery). Usually Chinese sale people are educated but extremely cold and distant with customers. That always leaves you a bitter feeling because they generally are distant even though you shopped there for years and you are acquaintances at this point! But these Chinese here, I L O V E D them! So friendly, so warm, the cashier even called "Ate" some senior ladies from Philippines, Ate being a polite form of address in Philippines towards people older than you 😍😍🤩🤩From now on Everytime I have some Asian food craving this is where I'll come! One of my favorite asian store in Rome as they sell some products that you cannot find at the other Asian store.
They do have great varieties of food, not only Chinese but also from the Philippine,Thai, Japanese, Korean and also Indonesian and others.
