Dorfhotel Beludei — Hotel in Salten-Schlern - Salto-Sciliar

We recently stayed at this incredible hotel for our honeymoon, having traveled all the way from California, USA, based on a glowing recommendation from friends. We couldn’t have been more impressed. The location is absolutely perfect for exploring the stunning hiking trails in the area. After long days of hiking, the wellness center was the ideal place to unwind and relax — it felt like a sanctuary of calm.

The rooms were amazing, offering breathtaking views of both a majestic waterfall and the Dolomites. Waking up to such beauty every day was a dream come true. Plus, getting around was incredibly convenient. It’s only a 10-minute walk to the bus stop, which made getting to Ortisei a breeze.

What truly made our stay special, though, was the dining experience. The multi-course dinners were nothing short of Michelin-star quality, and some of the best food we’ve ever eaten in our lives — far surpassing any other meals we've had during our travels around the country. Each dish was crafted with such care and creativity, and every night felt like a culinary journey.

On top of all this, the staff were incredibly kind, always making sure we felt welcome and well cared for. Their warmth and hospitality made the entire experience even more special.

My husband and I stayed here for a week and loved every part of our trip. The room was very spacious, clean and comfortable, with plenty of areas to enjoy a glass of wine while looking over hiking maps. We really enjoyed the private deck with views of the Sassolungo. The pool, sauna, hot tub and wellness area were so relaxing! |The food was excellent, including breakfast and an incredible multi course dinner every night, with a nice wine list as well. It was so good we didn’t feel the need to go elsewhere for dinner. |We were lucky to have a week of really nice weather so spent every day either hiking or mountain biking. The hotel has three electric hard tail mountain bikes available for rent for very reasonable rates so we took advantage of that, it worked really well for us. They also offer useful loaner hiking poles. We joined a hike with Taddeo, a wonderful, easy going local that guides hikes for hotel guests many days of the week. He not only took us on a lovely hike but through an exhibit of woodcarving in Ortisei, and then helped us plan the longer hiking routes we had planned for other days. Taddeo was part of an amazingly helpful, professional and super friendly staff that helped us with bus and train schedules, food and wine suggestions, and really, anything we needed help with. Our room is exactly as same as showed on the official web. Waking up every day with the incredible mountain view, which has been my dream.

Speaking of food. I always love Creative cuisines. I must say that I haven’t felt bored After having 4 days diner there. Starters and deserts are specially dedicated, u just can’t wait to explore the next dish:)In addiction, we got very good wine from staffs recommendations.

Wellness area is quiet and cozy, we had a great chill out, as the rest of hotel guests were absent:) Anyway you will definitely enjoy when you are immersed there.

Moreover, there’re some little suggestions that I’d like to highlight below: The see-through door in bathroom would be better got a banner on it. My little girl hit against on the glass twice. But overall speaking, this’s not a problem for adults though.

In the evening, the restaurant can have a little bit louder music. I expect there’re some music go on, In case of the tables are quite close. Therefore making the atmosphere much better.
