My wife and I stayed here for 6 nights on our ski trip to Val Gardena and it was absolutely wonderful. Perfect location near the bus stops to get to Selva, Col Raiser, Santa Cristina, and Ortesei quickly, easily, and free with our bus pass (included with the room).
Breakfast was also included and Matteo is a talented chef! There was quite a spread each morning with some of the best fresh cooked eggs and bacon I’ve ever had. The perfect way to start each ski day.
Matteo is a lovely guy and an extremely friendly and helpful host. Good vibes every time we walked in the door. The hotel itself is very cute and cozy and has a lot of charm and stunning views from the balcony and front porch.
I’d recommend this place to anyone especially if you are here to ski. We will definitely stay here again next time we come to Val Gardena!
Also we rented our ski gear from Ski Armin which is just down the street. They offer a discount for Villa Martha guests along with free delivery to the hotel ski room and even wax service that includes pickup and return. Would highly recommend them as well. Very convenient for staying here and exactly the quality gear we were looking for with...
Read moreWe stayed at a good amount of 5-star hotels and resorts around the world and Villa Martha is truly one of a kind. Pictures really don’t do it justice. The homemade but amazing selection of breakfast, the gorgeous view from the balcony, the squeaky clean everything (not a speck of dust), the comfortable bed (luxurious comforter/duvet) and Mateo’s flawless hospitality (he gave us freshly baked pastries in the evening after commenting how good they smell). We love the hot bath after a long day of hike and a glass of beer outside in the balcony looking the Dolomites. Mateo suggested hikes and were beyond welcoming. Location is great with free parking and nearby bus stop to nearby towns (eg ortisei) which as hotel guests you get free bus pass. Thank you so much for the unforgettable experience. We’ll...
Read moreMy husband and I spent 4 nights at Villa Martha earlier this month and were very pleased with our experience. The rooms were comfortable, well-appointed, very clean and with nice linens. The hotel has wonderful art including many wood sculptures from the region that the proprietor, Matteo, collected over the years and from his family's collection. Parking for our rental car was just across the street. The breakfast was robust with a variety of fresh and tasty items including fresh pastries, breads, eggs, fruits and yogurt. Moreover, Matteo, was very helpful with information on the area, responsive in his communications, highly proficient in English and did everything to ensure that we had a delightful experience at his hotel. We highly recommend Villa Martha if you plan to go to Val Gardena in...
