My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights. The hotel is absolutely spotless and has such a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere. From the moment we arrived, we knew it would be a luxurious stay. We stayed in room 204 which had a stunning view of the lake. It is just breathtaking. Totally worth having a lake view room to have the sunset views. The room was beautiful with everything that you would need. A lovely touch is the bag with towels for taking down to the pool. This was also replaced each day. The breakfast buffet was beautiful. Lots to choose from. We were so impressed that after a couple of days, they knew our coffee/tea order for each morning and it was just brought to us without asking. |The pool/garden area is amazing. It is a small hotel so it is very peaceful. There are more than enough sun loungers with lovely parasols. No need to fight over a sun lounger! You can lie back and relax and the hotel staff are so attentive. We ordered coffee and water quite regularly. The water was brought to the sun lounger in an ice bucket. The coffee was always brought on a tray with a lovely dish of biscuits each time. The pool is beautiful and so clean. There are also steps off the decking straight into the lake. My husband loved going for a swim. |We ate lunch at the hotel twice and it was lovely too. Every evening we walked into Sirmione for dinner. It was a 5-10 minute dander along the lake. It is a flat walk which was great as I was 27 weeks pregnant! Plenty of restaurants to choose from in Sirmione. We also got the ferry to Bardolinio for the day. This is well worth it. Lots of options of where to go to on the ferry. The port is in Sirmione town which is the 5-10 min walk. |For transportation, we flew into Verona. Got the airbus to Verona train station and then a train to Desensanzo. This worked very well. We then got a taxi to the hotel. This was about 20 mins and approx 30 euro. There are bus options, but again with being quite heavily pregnant, we went for the taxi option. |We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and it was the perfect baby moon. We hope to be back in the future. Thank you for an amazing stay. 5...
Read moreFantastic hotel overlooking Lake Garda and 5 - 6 minute walk from the old town. My wife and I stayed for 6 days and, for us, the hotel was perfect and one of the best (we have stayed in many) hotels for the price in Europe. The hotel is an ideal size, and in a great location, to enjoy a relaxing stay in Sirmione and next to Lake Garda. Spotless throughout everything about the hotel evidenced quality. Our room (107) on the first floor was extremely spacious and had a great view of the adjacent garden/park. The pool and garden area were particularly well laid out and inviting with a nice view of (and direct access to) the lake from the deck area. A really nice touch is the vines over the outside seating area with grapes in abundance providing a natural decoration as well as protection from the sun. Also plenty of sun beds in the garden/deck area. Breakfast is buffet style with a really delicious selection of both hot and cold food and cakes. The hotel is made even more special by the friendliness and helpfulness of all the staff. An excellent experience and a superb base for a stay in Sirmione or visiting other locations on Lake Garda (Garda, Salo, Bardolino, Desenzano etc) via ferry/boat. Guiseppe and Viktoriya are great hosts and provide a great family 'feel' about the hotel. Highly recommended and well...
Read moreWith so many options of hotels to stay in in Sirmione, we were so pleased we chose this one. ||From the moment you pull up into the carpark and find ample spaces, you walk through into the hotel and it takes your breath away. The cleanliness, the super friendly staff and the views! ||We arrived earlier than expected and our room wasn’t quite ready so we were offered a drink at the bar and were told they would come and bring it to us outside. There are a large number of sunbeds, all overlooking the lake and they have the most spectacular view. The hotel was full when we stayed and not once did we have any problem with sunbeds, in fact, they were pretty empty all day, every day! ||Only a short, 5-10 minute stroll into the old town of Sirmione but feels far enough out of the main hussle and bustle to feel relaxing. ||We paid extra for the lake view room (100% worth it). What’s also worth noting is that the hotel faces the direction of the sun on the lake- you get the sun all day and can watch the sunset from your room/the pool terrace. The hotels on the other side of the road were in the shade from lunch time and didn’t benefit from the lake views. ||Thank you to everyone at Vinci Hotel, you really made our stay special and we can’t wait...
