A Dream Come True for Our Elopement!

We recently had the incredible pleasure of hosting our wedding dinner, and I cannot begin to express how amazing the experience was. From start to finish, they went above and beyond to make our special day truly unforgettable.

The staff offered us custom menus tailored to our tastes, ensuring that every detail of the meal was exactly what we envisioned. They even surprised us with a stunning wedding cake that was not only beautiful but absolutely delicious! The private table they reserved for us overlooked the serene lake, providing the perfect romantic backdrop for our celebration.

We were unsure of our arrival time, but the team put us at ease, reassuring us that we could arrive whenever we were ready. This level of flexibility and care made us feel so special and taken care of throughout the entire evening.

Every aspect of our experience exceeded our expectations. Had a wrong review posted for this place, sorry for that. Fixing it. The restaurant is located in a fairly expensive hotel - and so the restaurant isn't cheap either (JIC the access is through ringing the reception from hotel gate; they don't ask questions, just open the door). It's not utterly expensive though, just on the expensive side of local variety. We dined there for two nights, both times we had different things and the food was quite good (thought I can't say it was extraordinary; but solid good) - the only thing one of us hadn't enjoyed was rösti but that was taken out of the bill. Wine selection was good too, though the wine actually was a bit too expensive IMO - it was good, but not THAT good. Another downside was the service - it was fairly slow and inattentive at times, we had to wait for wine and dishes for quite a long time even though it wasn't full. So overall good impression, but not entirely...

The food was beautiful however don’t come hungry as the portion sizes are very small even for the main course (secondi). I assumed that we would be seated outside on the terrace overlooking the sea based on the photos. However we were all seated inside and could not see the water. Very disappointing. There was a total of 8 tables with 2-4 guests dining in total that evening. Service was prompt but very austere bordering on rude. Very unfriendly especially the main Maître d’ who appeared to be upset and cranky. It was my husbands birthday if which the reservation hostess was aware upon booking. Not one staff congratulated him on his Birthday. I do not recommend this restaurant. Expensive and very disappointing. After i did this review you will see the response by the hotel below. We were in the correct restaurant as were guided there by the hotel staff. The response by the hotel is a response to discredit my review....
