Our boat tour on Lake Garda with Garda Tours and Fabrizio was without a doubt, a highlight of our trip, even on a rainy September day! Despite the weather, we had the most incredible experience all thanks to Fabrizio’s warmth, professionalism, and remarkable expertise.

From the moment we stepped on board, he made us feel so welcome. He made sure we were comfortable the entire time, keeping us dry under the canopy while still giving us stunning, uninterrupted views of the lake.

Fabrizio’s deep knowledge of the lake, the weather, and how to navigate changing conditions was seriously impressive. He could read the rain patterns across the water, and skillfully guided us around the showers. Then, as the skies began to clear, he brought us to the most beautiful spots at exactly the right time. That level of awareness and control made the experience feel effortless and safe.

But beyond his skill, Fabrizio was an absolute joy to spend time with. He’s warm, funny, full of great energy. Singing karaoke together on the lake, rain and all, was an unexpected and unforgettable highlight.

We went on the 4 hour wine tasting tour to Bardolino. I can take or leave wine so this was mainly for the boat trip around the lake. Our captain (Ivan) waw hilarious and friendly. We raced the other boat on the tour across the lake to Bardolino where we all disembarked and were greeted by some friendly ducks. We were led to a winehouse and served a glass each of white, rose and red, along with some melon, prosciutto and arancini balls. Conversation was good and the social lube of the wine got our boat group chatting happily. We headed back out on the boat and drove further north up the lake, stopping off the shore of a private mansion. I had decided against going for a swim prior to getting on the boat but as soon as we dropped anchor and I saw the water, I had to jump in! I was not wearing swim wear but it was worth it. The water was warm and fresh, for 10 minutes floating around in the lake, I felt total bliss. We got back on the boat where Ivan provided us all with glasses of prosecco. We then raced the other boat further north before circling back to Sirmione. This was probably the highlight of my time on the lake. Enhanced only by the awesome 80s soundtrack we had blasting...

Cruising lake garda in style & privacy

Rented a boat for two days to escape the landside mass of tourists and enjoyed pure tranquility and fascinating landscapes from almost all seasides of the lake. My wife and i couldn't have spent these two days more exceptional. A typical day would have started in Sirmione in the morning, cruising up the west coast for a lunch and sightseeing in Limone, getting back on the boat to smoothly stroll back on the east coast passing by Malcesine, Brenzone and Torri del Benaco to finally cross over for a sunset visit of Isola del Garda and its castle before finally returning to Sirmione harbour. Every now and then stopping at a peaceful spot for skinny dipping before continuing the cruise.

My man Anthony of Sirmione boats and all of his crew were always awesome in preparing and explaining the most beautiful spots and things to take care for boating on this wnderful lake. Whenever we will return, which is sooner than later, i will always be back with this specific crew for all the great and high quality service they have provided.
