I booked this B&B via Booking.com and was attracted to it, mainly due to its location, but also the fact that it only has 5 rooms so all guests are treated with utmost care and attention. I was impressed to see that as soon as I booked Gianni contacted me via Whats app, and kept me informed with the development of my booking all the way.||||Location - Perfect, its i9n the heart of the old town, and every tourist attraction is within easy walking distance. The old city walls are right outside the front door, the arena is 50m to the right and the bus station is a 15 minute walk away, ( allow 25 mins if you have a big case) ||||Appearance - very good, it looks as though it has recently been renovated and I could find no real fault with our room at all.||||Staff service - After checking in I only saw Gianni at breakfast time, but he gave good advise about getting around the town, handed out free maps and could not be more helpful. He also spoke very good English.||||Food - There are plenty of restaurants around so guests do not have to walk far to find some good food. We had breakfast at the B&B and as expected it was continental breakfast fare, cheese, hams, bread toast, cereals, yogurts and bottomless tea and coffee. Its not 5 star but its much cheaper than anywhere else in town and will certainly fill you up.||||Rooms - Pretty good size, bed was comfortable, the room was quiet and it had a small TV which did not show any English channels, a safe and plenty of drawer and hanging space. Staff kept the room spotlessly clean.||||Bathroom - The bathroom was huge with a wet room style shower that was powerful and had plenty of hot water. Towels were lovely and soft and the hotel provided shampoo in sachets but no shower gel, so top tip bring your own.||||Trips out - If you feel that you have "Done " Verona, short trips by train will take you to Venice or lake Garda, both worth a visit if you have time.||||WIFI - Excellent throughout the hotel and free||||City Tax - I hate this but its not the hotels fault. The cost is 1.5 Euro PP per night||||Whats App - Gianni answered all my questions before arrival, I contacted him when I landed and he was waiting at the hotel for us when we arrived, service was superb.||||This is not the Ritz, but for its location and service its excellent value for money and I would not hesitate to stay here again when I next...
Read moreThis is the finest bed and breakfast accommodation I have ever used. Designed as a Roman Villa with beautiful gardens and pool, everything was of the highest quality. The staff were welcoming, charming and always helpful. Breakfast served in the garden was so lovely. If I could give it more than 10 points out of 10, I would. It was in a quiet location but only 10 minutes to lake Garda and 35...
