We had a great stay in July, while attending the opera at the Arena. There are many, many good things about this place. Your stay will be better if you know a few details: ||* There's no dedicated parking. Street parking is tricky. Federica gave us a parking pass, and she even met us on the street and drove around with us to find a blue parking space (yellow are for handicapped) - I don't know how we would ever have parked without her, and she's not always available. Work that part out before you arrive. ||* The unit is on an upper floor. There's a tiny elevator, but if your wife is claustrophobic then you'll be climbing lots of stairs. ||* There is A/C, but the one control for the whole place stays in the common area. if you go in the summer, be sure you know where it is. ||||We had no complaints at all - this is a 4-star review. But these three things are good to know. Especially the parking - I'd love to stay a week, but I'd never ever...
Read moreMy husband and I stayed in this B&B in June 2013. This B&b only have 2 rooms (or 3rd room locked?), run by a young couple living upstairs. The location of the B&B is very hard to find but you can go near to the Arena and give the owner a call, the husband speak good enough English to guide you there or he will come down to meet you. ||||The location is great, short walk to the Arena, and the room is clean and big, if you have the red room, there is no attached bathroom, but it's just located next to the room, big and clean. We found that it is a bit lack of privacy as the breakfast snack bar is just outside the bathroom, but the owner provided a screen divider so it was not a problem for us. In the morning the owner will buy some fresh bread and chocolate twist for breakfast. ||||I will go back to this b&b and recommend my friends...
Read moreWe booked a triple room and double room for a night in May 2014. ||We took a taxi from the station to the hotel as it was still a distance away from the station. We were a little surprised to find that it is an actual residential apartment.||Two young Italian ladies greeted us at the door and helped us get the luggage into the house. She showed us our rooms which were cozy and comfortable. There is also free WIFI provided and biscuits / breads / yoghurt for a humble breakfast. ||We are quite happy with this place as it is within walking distance to all major attractions e.g. Arena, Juliet's Balcony, CastelVecchio. ||Our only gripe was that the bathroom was not an attached bathroom. It was a public bathroom shared between us and another...
