Yume Iroha — Hotel in Atami

Location: It wasn't very close to the JR station. When we took our luggage with us on the days of arrival and departure, we had to take taxi to and from the JR station. It costed around JPY700-780, and took about 10 mins. But it was close to the central area, where there was a shopping street that led you to the beach / seaside park. We chose this because we went to the firework event (花火大会). ||||Room: We stayed in a standard room for three days. It was basic, without shower facilities. We then paid an addition of JPY1,500/day for reserving a private onsen, where we could shower and enjoy onsen. The room was spacious for us, but was a bit shabby. It was clean though, and staff came for basic cleaning every day. 熱海駅から坂を下った先にある平成中期を感じさせるホテル。 熱海市図書館の下にあるので、そちらを目指していくと分かりやすいです マックスバリューの交差点から来宮神社方面に進むと、上り坂が少なくて済むので楽でした。

宿泊料金以外のオプションメニューは後払い式の旅館スタイル。 部屋建物は30年くらいの年季が入ったものでしたが ・ドアがカードキー(チェーンは無し) ・全体空調を廃止して各部屋エアコン完備 ・TVが32型と大きめ ・各部屋内に洗面台と、温水洗浄便座 ・壁コンセントから延長ケーブルでUSB付き電源タップが備え付け(助かる) と、現代人の宿泊にあったスタイルになっていて不便はなかったです。

木造で年季の入った建物なので、畳や木枠でミシミシ音はします。 隣や上階の音はエアコンの駆動音位はするので、静かに休みたい方はノイキャンイヤホンなど持っていきましょう (深夜帯は浴室閉鎖してるので、トイレの水洗音くらいしかしなかったです)

畳のお部屋は布団敷きがセルフ 浴衣もセルフで〜LLサイズ

周囲に飲食店多いのと、コンビニやマックスバリュー(イオン系)があるので食事には困らないですが、熱海市自体が斜面にある街なので、今回は夕朝2食付きプランで宿泊。 お値段もお手頃だと思います。

多分メインの温泉は3Fと4Fで、朝夕で男女入れ替え制。 4階の浴室は少し狭めですが、源泉掛け流しで湯量もそこそこ(3原泉ミックスで湯温80度、加水温度調整はしてるかも) 浴槽の縁が檜で香り良く入れます。 (周りがホテルやビルばかりなので窓は閉め切り) アクアクララのウォーターサーバー設置

3階の方は入り口に大きい段差あり。 温泉成分表記が無く、湯量もチロチロで少ないので、こっちは循環式かも。 浴室は大きめですが床がぬるっていたり、塗装はげや木の窓枠ズレてたりと大分年季の入った印象。15-25まで男性専用なので、翌朝3階の方に入ることをお勧めします。

有料の貸切風呂もあり、こちらは屋内と露天で料金の違う2種類 45分2500 1時間1500 今回利用はしませんでしたが、写真を見る限り1番力が入っていそうで、高級旅館ばりの内装。 ここを利用したかしないかで、宿に対する評価がガラッと変わりそうな雰囲気。 (写真は公式サイトで)

食事は予約時とチェックイン時に時間申告制 今回は2回とも個室でした

夕食は固形燃料炊きの釜飯に、牛しゃぶ 桜エビの茶碗蒸し、金目鯛の煮付け、中トロ・サーモン・鰤っぽい白身魚の刺身 と言った感じで地の物が多く、熱海感満載のメニューで美味しい😋 刺身は鮮度抜群でさっくりとした食感 アオサの味噌汁だったのもポイント高い。

飲み物は地酒やハイボールのほかにソフトドリンクもあってチェックアウト時会計

用意されていないお茶や水、食後のアイスなど、毎回従業員の方呼び出さないといけなかったのが結構不便でした(呼び出しボタン何度も押すのが申し訳なさすぎる😥)

朝食は和膳で納豆と温玉あるのは良き 後から来るものとしてアジの干物焼きがあって、こちらも熱海っぽくて美味しかったです。 おひつの白米は2杯分あって、おかず多めの中ちょうど良かった。 セルフのドリンクはコーヒーお茶やジュース、見た感じ牛乳はなさそうでした
