Ok…I have stayed at many hotels in the last 25 years I have travelled Japan and I have to say this is the weirdest hotel I have ever stayed at. The Pros: it has an onsen bath it has great views of Fuji (probably when it is clear…which is hardly ever) the rooms were clean and spacious it has yukata that you can wear to relax
The Cons: the windows (or lack of windows) is shocking…my window was about a foot and a half by one foot and a half square…it was super weird this place was full of foreigners! I didn’t encounter one Japanese person the entire time I was here. Some were very loud and a bit rude and they didn’t know how to use the bath properly the hallways are like a maze and difficult to navigate…no forethought whatsoever was put into the design. Rooms on the inside have NO windows! I’m not even sure this is legal (it isn’t where I’m from). I suppose they get away with it by having a window into the hallway????? if you want authentic Japanese food, this is NOT the place. A heavy emphasis is placed on Chinese dishes which I was not a fan of the walls are super thin and you can hear pretty much everything going on around you…so it can get loud
I have heard that there is a lot of overseas investors that have purchased buildings such as this in Japan and done the bare minimum to upkeep and renovate them just to make a quick buck. You can tell that this place has fallen victim to this. Old red carpets with newer renovated bedrooms makes...
Read more🙄About the room.
Small room, with no window. Air conditioning only use central control, guest can not adjust temperature to meet thier need. Gap between bathroom floor and room floor is really high about 30cm. Which is really dangerous for elder or those who in rush can fall down. ⚠️ -Cleanliness is not good enough. Spider webs and stain can be found in some corner. During winter only heater mode with no window which may affect those who have health condition due to poor air circulation in the room. And room with window can not open for fresh air.
Note: after complaining Hotel manager, I can switch for the room with window and open window slightly for fresh air. ✅️
🙄About going to onsen
In the room,No instruction regards onsen towel usage. Only one towel set per person , none provided in bathing room (onsen).
.."No instruction in the room that guest need to bring towel with"..

Read moreI was impressed by the kindness and service of all the staff members at this hotel. They are not only very kind hearted and smart but they literally saved my life when I was sick. They helped me achieve my dream to conquer 富士山 and they guided me so I could visit the best places in kawaguchiko. This hotel has a great view and it's located near important places that you must visit if you are a fan of Mt. Fuji. I recommend this hotel very much. They have free bike for customers, comfortable beds, nice toiletries and a big common bath to relax. There are vending machines in each floor and a coffe machine and also snacks, so you don't have to go to the convenience store.
There's a mall nearby and it's close to a clinic and a hospital (ten minutes by car). The Fujisan view deck, the herb garden, kagaguchiko lake and many restaurants and fun places to visit are close around. Also you can go and walk around the forests!
Thank you to all the staff to make my visit so...
