Heiwadai Hotel Tenjin — Hotel in Fukuoka

I stayed 3 nights for a conference, and paid about 5000 Yen a night. I'm giving a good review based on this list: In the Agoda application, to book this hotel, you can choose to pay on location, which many hotels don't provide this feature. The room was okay. If you're a traveler that doesn't need many facilities from the hotel, this hotel gives you more than enough. For the price, this is good. The breakfast is good. You can have two options, Japanese set or Western set. For me, I really love the Japanese set. The staffs are helping, even though they often speak Japanese more than English. But it won't cause trouble. They try their best to help you out. It's close to Tenjin station which a lot of tourist attractions are near. Overall...

We needed a cheap room for an overnight stop in Fukuoka because of a cancelled flight.|Hotel Heiwadei offered a late check in - early check out rate that was perfect for us.|Gladly we stored our bags at the airport and went there just with handluggage because the room (813) was really tiny.|The furniture was quite old, but everything worked. Standard room for Japan. Good location, close to a convenience store and a small park with benches and cherry blossom trees. A couple of blocks away from Oyafuko street (south of the park) with lots of bars and restaurants. Despite the proximity to the street action it is in a quiet area. A short 7 minutes walk to Akasaka train station, 10 minutes walk to Tenjin train station. Hotel check in is on the 2nd flood, one elevator, stairs available.
