Fukuoka Daimyo Garden City — Local services in Fukuoka

I was walking along the street from Akasaka Station to Tenjin Station when I came across this place by chance. It left a great impression on me — everything was beautiful, pleasant to look at, and perfectly well-kept. I later found out that this place is called FUKUOKA DAIMYO GARDEN CITY PARK.

It is the large scale mixed-use complex including offices, shops, restaurants, hotel and public spaces. The outdoor lawn is feature of an artificial grass lawn of about 1,600sqm which is multi-purpose open area for public events , picnics and relaxation. It's well blending the nature with urban life. The restaurants around the area are really modern interesting especially an American style restaurant named The Craft Bar and Grill. I like this area. It's a great place to meet a friend or even sit on the turf grass and relax on a clear, beautiful day or evening. Be respectful of noise though - there is a hotel and other businesses nearby, and you don't want to be frowned on like others who get carried away in quiet times.
