Check in was easy and the room was small but comfortable. The hotel was booked, but we contacted them directly (in Japanese) and they were very kind and flexible to help us accommodate our entire family together (two adults, 1 child, and 1 toddler).||||The hotel is very clean and they have ion water everywhere. They also said their walls were made of special material to keep everything clean. They are entirely non-smoking hotel.||||The onsen was nice and open until the morning, so you can go anytime. Some of the other customers were a bit dirty and didn’t clean up after themselves. They left their garbage in the washing area of the bath, like their soap garbage and sponges and such. Some of the lockers also smelled pretty bad like sweat from other patrons. I went to the bad in the night and in the morning. ||||Breakfast was simple and common Japanese and western style. I don’t think it was anything special, but they had some added touches, like no artificial chemicals in the miso soup or in nori for the rice. They also had grain rice in addition to regular rice.||||One interesting point was the room controls were done entirely electronically using a tablet device. You could change the temperature/color of the lights in the room, the air conditioner temperature (hot and cold) as well as see the congestion in the breakfast area and bath. So, if you don’t want to go to breakfast or the bath when it is busy, you can check it out before you go. (Photos of the device attached).||||Microwave and water service was every other floor in front of the elevators. So, it was pretty easy and convenient. They also had a lot of female amenities on the first floor and a lot of different kind of pillows available for people separated based on firmness and height. It was an interesting system. I used the charcoal pillow and we also used the cedar pillow, while the kids enjoyed the super...

Read moreExtremely Rude and Unhelpful Staff
I stayed at this hotel a week ago and initially decided not to leave a review, but after reflecting on my experience, I felt it necessary to share.
The staff members at this hotel were incredibly rude and impolite. They showed a complete lack of interest in assisting us and exhibited rude body language throughout our interactions. At first, I thought it might be a language barrier, so I used a translator to communicate more effectively. Despite this, the staff members showed no interest and just stared blankly at their desks.
If this hotel isn’t foreigner-friendly, then it should not sell rooms to foreigners. We don’t need this kind of treatment.
To the staff members: you might have had negative encounters with foreign visitors before, but not all foreigners are the same. We understand that you might be tired, but some of us just want to get to our rooms without encountering rude behavior.
Additionally, for those considering staying here, be aware that you might get smaller rooms than you expect. We booked a room to accommodate three people and were given a room with just one bed. When we raised this issue, we were told this was the only available option, despite having paid for a room for three.
Furthermore, it was clear that the staff were extremely attentive to Japanese visitors, giving them 100% attentiveness. This stark difference in treatment led us to believe that what we experienced was casual racism from this hotel.
Overall, this was a very disappointing experience, and I would not recommend this hotel to other travelers,...
