I stayed here for three nights with the wife. It was her first time on a ski hill and the hotel was amazing. So uch room. Warm. The breakfast was amazing everyday. The ski storage area was easy to deal with. The staff were always friendly and helpful for anything we needed. They even know stuff about places in town we asked about off hand without calls. The orgniased the minibus to the ski hill and back to the train station when we left. So good overal. The rain show was awesome. The beds were so comfy which was so good after 5+ years of not snowboarding and needing that good sleep after feeling like being hit by a truck from 8 hour's of snowboard. Those of you who ride or ski will know what I mean haha! What else... Free drinsk machine for hote drinks. Free wine and snacks at the front as this is a hotel for a winery right. And zero pressure from the stuff to get you to buy anything which is nice. This is one of the best, if not the BEST hotel I've ever stayed at. If you want to walk to the 24/7 shop sicomart was was 5 mins down the road. Oh and one more thing. I booked with a note telling them it's the wifes first time on a ski hill so can something special be done. They messaged back in Agoda and told me the room I booked was not one with the best view and they gave me the exact room name to book so I was ablve to cancel our booking free of charge and rebook the on that had such a nice view of the town and mountains. I don't think they can change a booking, you have to do it so that was really nice. Such a good hotel. 10/10. No actually 15 out of 10. So good. We will be back in the summer at some point and I will stay here again and when we are back in the winter I will stay here again. This hotel made my stay, and first time in Furano and very memorable expeience :) So happy we picked...
Read moreStayed here on Winter 2025 season (February) for our first ski experience. The hotel staffs are very accommodative and helpful. Thank you for everyone being such a great help. They offered free shuttle between the hotel, train station, and also the ski lifts (2 different zones; kitanomine zone; the closer one, and furano zone; the further one). Please note that there are schedules set by the hotel, and if you have specific needs, please coordinate with the staff the day before.
Breakfast was wonderful and very delicious with lots of options; very extensive salad options, pastries with quality ingredients and baking skill, local milk produces (3 types when we were there), and also some other local delicacies like curry soup, crab soup, etc (though some menu shifts everyday so longer staying guests will not be bored)
There’s a vast wine tasting options (4 different wines when we were here) in the lobby along with non alcohol options (apple and grape juice).
There’s also a public bath (onsen) option available for most time of the day (service ends on midnight) with a green tea/water/lemon water vending machine and free washing machines and dryers.
In the room, you’ll find most of the things that you will need; hair dryer, complete bath sets like shampoo, conditioner, face wash, body lotion, showering gel, very good mattresses / beds, long table to store your things, most importantly enough spaces for your luggages (they have separate closed and safe ski locker just in front of the lobby). Not to forget, they provide 2 water bottles and 2 canned beers for every room checked in (you can always buy another water bottle for 100 yen downstairs; a very reasonable price. In addition; the rooms are equipped with very good views, either overseeing the city or...
Read moreThe staff were all very patient, friendly and most helpful, arranging free shuttle service to pick us up from Furano station. We had an excellent deal due to the Go To Travel campaign, and we even got a free bottle of local Furano wine after answering a few questions on a simple survey. ||Breakfast was delicious; although choices may not be as wide variety as some of the larger hotel chains, but it was more than enough to satisfy us. All ingredients were locally sourced within Hokkaido as much as possible. They even serve 3 different types of milk from different parts of Hokkaido.||The location was perfect; only a few minutes' walk from the Kitanomine ski lift station, and they provide free shuttle bus service to the new Furano Prince Hotel ski lift station too. Rooms were very large for a Japanese hotel, and immaculately clean. We were two adults and two toddlers, with 3 large suitcases, and there was still enough room for the little ones to run around in the room. The toilet and bathroom are separate rooms, which is really nice especially for families.||Washing machines and dryers are available absolutely free of charge too, something you don't see often in hotels.||We had the hotel's course dinner for our Christmas dinner, and although not exactly cheap, it was well worth the price (two main courses were both served for each person, abalone as the seafood main and Japanese Wagyu beef as the meat main).||All in all, it was an excellent experience for our family.||The other reviews and ratings do not lie; very highly...
