I have been to hotels and hostels of various prices all over Japan, and this was by far the worst accommodations I have experienced. Honestly, all I want is a fairly comfortable space. The room was 30 degrees Celsius (about 90 degrees farenheight), but outside was only 20 degrees Celsius. I tried to ask the front desk if I was doing something wrong with the air conditioner, but they said that all air conditioners were off, so the room was just cooking me and there was nothing I could do. You can open the window a bit, but they lock the window from opening fully and then you have to deal with the noise of downtown Hiroshima. The restaurant was bad. They didn't clean any of the dishes, so the return area was full, and people had to just leave their dishes all over the floor and on the bench and tables, just dozens of trays with used dishes everywhere. It was gross. Also the staff didn't talk to me at all, so I just stood at the front counter awkwardly for a while, before leaving, not getting the breakfast I paid for. Other than that this hotel has no other significant features, no lounge, pool, onsen, or anything. The rooms are uncomfortable and the restaurant is understaffed, and gross. Hiroshima is a beautiful city, and I'd recommend anyone to see it, but I'd...
Read moreMy wife and I found this hotel to be a significant improvement over our previous accommodations during our Japan 2025 trip. Its convenient location, just 600 meters from Hiroshima Station, was a definite plus. Furthermore, the City Buses' and Street Cars stops were all within walking distance. The presence of a simple yet practical self-service restaurant, Matsuya, on the ground floor was also very handy. We particularly appreciated the staff member who spoke both Chinese and a bit of English, making communication remarkably easy. When I inadvertently left both room cards inside, she promptly and efficiently assisted in reissuing replacements. Furthermore, the room we stayed in for two nights was notably clean and completely dust-free, which we greatly appreciated. 2025 is their first...
Read moreStayed here as a couple for 2 nights. Overall, a really pleasant visit. The staff were friendly and the rooms had sufficient space to repack some larger luggage. It's a bit small by western standards but much bigger than an APA.
The room was clean and the staff were friendly. We were able to leave our luggage there and send one onwards through reception via Yamato.
The location is convenient as it is not too far from the station to walk.
The reception is on the 2nd floor via a lift. There is a matsuya on the ground floor.
A dedicated smoking room, toilets, vending machines and laundry room are available in the lobby on the 2nd floor. You do not need to bring your own detergent for laundry as the machines...
